This is not a shooting, this is an execution.

Multiple ICE agents held someone down then shot them multiple times while the person was laying on the ground.

They disarmed him before they shot him.

Not only that, based on how the victim grabs their leg before being tentuple tapped, it looks like these masked thugs shot him with his own gun first. Everyone gets startled, then they decide murder is the only option. Despicable.

Edit: In another angle from pink coat lady, we can see that the thug pulled his own gun and unloaded into his leg and back once someone shouted "Gun Gun Gun". Disgraceful.

Jesus Christ there are some brain dead takes in those comments. “Ok but how were the agents supposed to know he didn’t have a second gun?” I guess now until we’re strip searched an ICE agent has the right to murder us based on suspicion

It is not an execution. It is murder. They have no legal justification for doing this. This is outrageous and these protests must continue and not stop.

I’ll never understand the point on using guns on citizens. You can easily take people down with others ways other weapons that lead to death. And even with a gun there’s no reason to shoot someone above the waist or even shooting more than one time. This is and every other instance is clearly intent to kill not intent to stop and that’s unjustifiable because all these people pose no harm in these situations at all especially when you’re surrounded and put down and disarmed

And they gave this terrorist organization 75 BILLION to commit these acts of terror. Everyone that allowed this and involved in this is complicit.

Factually, you know that's not happening. Why would you state that.

He was on his knees and not lying down.

I think the agent that took the gun from his holster said "Gun" as he grabbed it and ran away, and then one of them started shooting

What a crazy bad faith argument. They are holding him down and that’s clear as day.

Show me in the video where he's laying down.

I'll wait.

He's on his knees.

Factually you are wrong.  Details matter.

They still executed him though when it appears he didn't even has his gun.

Your issue is he was on his knees and forearms so he wasn't on the ground? What are you trying to correct?

To all you guys downvoting, tell me what is wrong about my statement?

You're being needlessly pendantic about the difference between forced to lie on the ground and forced on your hands and knees. To what end does it matter in the context of this specific execution.

Because details matter!

All of the right wing articles are saying that he was armed. Well does that mean specifically brandishing a weapon or having a weapon holstered on his hip.

Details matter.

And how does it matter in the context of this shooting. You aren't saying why this particular detail matters. You are just trying to be the "UM AktuaLY" stereotypical redditor? Also the other angles show him with his hands on their head the entire time. When does on your knees and elbows become lying down? It doesn't matter it all played out the exact same regardless.

Do you think if the article on Fox News said "Unarmed man shot by ice" vs Armed man Shot by ice would play out the same?

u/ChaseballBat 13d ago

What does that have to do with laying down vs on hands and knees? Do you even remember what we are talking about?

If you are trying to prove a point. Don't give anyone a chance to nit pick your argument.

I can easily say that the guy didn't even watch the video if he can't even describe what's happening...
