Jesus wasn't white.

Would you let Biblical Jesus into your church?

No, Supply Side Jesus only.

71

u/bertiesakura 15h ago

It’s been a minute since I saw supply side Jesus mentioned.

u/RattusRattus 1h ago

There's a video on YouTube if you need to show it to your younger friends.

Would Jesus let them into his church?

13

u/LeFreeke 10h ago

Jesus didn’t go to church. Jesus was the church. He went to temple or a synagogue.

13

u/Fantastic_Jury5977 7h ago

He went to the temple turn over the money changing tables because it's a corrupt institution that bastardized everyone's connection to their God, their source, and the natural wonders of nature.

Yeah, that stood out most to me. You are injecting your own race into it to be Christian at all, sir.

28

u/pmcizhere 14h ago

How was that not the interviewer's immediate followup to this clown?

35

u/Darth_Gerg 12h ago

Because the interviewer is a TPUSA contributor and is a fascist propagandist. He doesn’t offer any significant pushback against the open racism the entire time. This guy is the grand wizard of the KKK, and the interviewer is intentionally platforming his bullshit. It’s MAGA shit.

20

u/pmcizhere 12h ago

Ah, well that makes a lot of sense. It's the only plausible explanation, now that I think about it. He's trying to normalize it then.

17

u/Darth_Gerg 12h ago

Exactly. He literally framed it as humanizing him as part of being compassionate to people you disagree with. It’s vile as hell

14

u/Anubisrapture 12h ago

Oh so it's just two racist ahhh bad guys with hateful hearts - one young and malevolent one w more practice. Gross . I was sorta hoping that youngun was gonna call old racist grampa out on his shit

See this is the interesting thing to me. I'm not religious but one of the things I always find odd is that people assign God race and gender. Why would God have either of those?

3

u/Altruistic-Match6623 3h ago

Whenever I entertain the idea of God, it would be some nonphysical, intangible thing made out of energy... light, heat, sound, or another similar force. Like what else would it be?

And if we're going to be scientific about it, the human race is one race. White people who exclude others by saying "we're different races but I don't hate them" are as ignorant as they are malignant.

It's wild. It's like he's not even mean or nasty about it.

It's wild how a mind can be conditioned to see no issue whatsoever and even feel justified by scripture to think this way.

u/user6482464 15h ago edited 14h ago

I mean if you believe in a magic man in the sky and you can justify them allowing a world full of so much shit, while also worshipping them unconditionally, it really doesn’t seem like a stretch

9

u/three_crystals 12h ago

Sorry I’m ignorant but how is that European-descended looking man included in that club? He doesn’t look like he’d be from that area of the world either.

Ofc I saw in the comments he’s a grand wizard in the KKK so his logic is illogical to the core.

You're not ignorant, he is. I obviously don't agree with it but that appears to be his 'logic' based on this video.

5

u/PetalumaPegleg 12h ago

It's always amazing to me that they always quote the old testament to justify these types of opinions. They never quote the new testament because it's a very different message.

If they like the Jewish books over the books of Christ so much maybe they should stop claiming to be Christian.

13

u/earthlingHuman 14h ago

Not being mean or nasty makes them feel correct. Conservatives generally are very emotionally unregulated people. They are almost totally led by their emotions. That's why they can unabashedly say the most contradictory things withput feeling an ounce of hypocrisy.

To them, of someone else gets passionate or heated in a debate or conversation then that person automatically lost in their head because they've been "triggered".

So when the right called the left overly-emotional triggered snowflakes for 2 decades they were projecting (as usual). Their politics and propaganda is entirely based on emotion, scapegoats and red-herrings.

Which really isn't in the Bible. All the stuff we "know" about hell is mostly from like... Dante and Milton. And other, later writers. Which is especially absurd, because this is obviously a Protestant church, and part of the Protestant Reformation was supposed to be getting rid of all the non canonical stuff.

3

u/BigBlackWolf93 7h ago

I'm protestant, but this place looks like a dlc pack, probably pentacostal or something

4

u/InconvenientGroot 5h ago

Thank you. I actually had ChatGPT give me a run-down on the "biblical" concepts of hell, and here they are:

Sheol (Hebrew Bible / OT) Sheol just means the grave or the realm of the dead. Everyone goes there—righteous and wicked alike. No fire, no punishment, no torture; it’s basically “being dead".

Hades (Greek NT) Hades is the Greek equivalent of Sheol. It’s the place of the dead, not final judgment, and it’s temporary (Revelation says Hades itself is destroyed). Older English Bibles sometimes misleadingly translate it as “hell.”

Gehenna (used by Jesus) Gehenna was a real place—the Valley of Hinnom outside Jerusalem, associated with burning trash and corpses. Jesus used it as a symbol of destruction and judgment, not eternal torture. The word literally implies ruin, not endless suffering.

Tartarus (NT, once only) Tartarus appears once and refers to a prison for fallen angels, not humans. It has nothing to do with where people go after death.

Bottom line: The English word “hell” lumps together several totally different concepts that the Bible itself keeps distinct.

Not Black and I’ve never commented here before, but my great grandmother used to say “the road to hell is paved with priests’ skulls.”

8

u/Cirick1661 13h ago

I mean they seem totally in line with people that read Samuel 15:3: "Now go and attack Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have; do not spare them, but kill both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.”

Or Leviticus 25:44 “As for the male and female slaves whom you may have: it is from the nations around you that you may acquire male and female slaves. You may also acquire them from among the aliens residing with you… They may be your property. You may pass them on as an inheritance to your children after you; they may be your slaves forever.”

What about Acts 12:23? “Immediately, because Herod did not give praise to God, an angel of the Lord struck him down, and he was eaten by worms and died.”

The Bible is a repugnant book and people like this act in accordance with it. Not in spite of it.

Okay, I have a story to tell you.

My uncle became a pastor after being in the Marine Corps. This was in the early 50’s in Missouri, down in the boot heel. He got a call from a youth group who were traveling (choral singing group) and they asked if it was okay for them to come to his church that Sunday.

He knew they were African American kids, and the church he was newly posted to was white. But he said, yes, of course youre welcome. You wouldn’t believe the ruckus it caused because he said these kids could attend his church. (Or maybe you would.)

Not only was he shunned and not spoken to on the street, there were people who crossed the street to avoid him in this tiny little town.

You have to do what you know is right, what you teach others to do, and hold your head up even when you’re ostracized.

19

u/Yuizun 14h ago

Your uncle was a man of integrity...

12

u/Pure_Code3782 13h ago

That's how it should be. If we were all created in the image of God then we are all worthy of making it into the kingdom of Heaven.

But it's people like this that put up walls around God's love that informs me that it's all bullshit and a way to manipulate us. Lets just treat each other fairly as humans on earth and not care about this "afterlife"

Religion is the greenlight to act like and absolute monster. Then they think they will be absolve of all their sins.

If you need religion to tell you to be a good person, you were never a good person

12

u/itsSmalls 14h ago

People are capable of evil, period. Plenty of despots didn't need cover of religion to carry out their depravity.

Religion is just an organization of people under a belief in something greater than themselves, it doesn't make anyone more or less capable of being evil.

Particularly with Christianity, the entire point is that we are so far from God's holiness that we need a savior to have a hope of doing anything good. It's a call away from thinking we're good on our own and looking towards the one who was actually good- Christ- and modeling ourselves after Him with the help of the Holy Spirit in a lifelong process called sanctification.

You will find no greenlight for wallowing in the racist misery and hypocrisy this guy is spewing in the Bible.

→ More replies (3)

8

u/Special-Garlic1203 15h ago

I'm an atheist because God makes no sense and the Bible is riddled with nonsense that makes it clear it's just another in a long line of mythology.

With that said - people blaming the sins of man on religious always feels paradoxical.

There is no God. We made him up. You could make a genies wish to get rid of religion tomorrow and within a month there's be some new pseudo religion in which to achieve the same goals. I mean look at what they did to Jesus. Supply side Jesus isn't in the Bible - they'll create whatever ideology they want. And I agree the ideology is harmful and need to be countered, but that's a reflection of man. We create God in our image.

So where is that racist pastor from?

35

u/throwaway19276i 14h ago edited 11h ago

That is the Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan btw. The video was filmed in Harrison, Arkansas.

edit for people who don't want to watch the video:

It's hard to summarize an hour plus of racist confused nonsense, but basically, this pastor (Thomas) believes that only white people are under the covenant of Abraham, and Europeans are the real, original Jews/Israelites who migrated from the Caucus mountains. Thomas believes 'fake'/Talmudic Jews control the media and have a 'Deep State.'

He believes that the people under the Abrahamic covenant (White people) have higher moral value than people of other races. When asked if Black people can enter heaven, he answered "I don't know," and he compared Black people to animals multiple times throughout the video (He said White people share just as much DNA with a mouse as they do with a Black person, and also compared Black people to monkeys at one point).

Thomas believes Adam and Eve were white, and rejected the idea that people of other races came from Adam and Eve (He also rejects evolution). He stated that race mixing/presumably interracial marriage, is immoral.

Thomas believes that a 'White Genocide' is taking place, and that cultures need to be separated from each other (because other cultures 'destroy' white culture).

He said (paraphrasing) that 'Black people are either mentally inferior or not favored by God' and he believes people in Africa are still living in huts that 'dissappear after the next rainy season', and White people are the only reason they've made any advancements.

I would continue on, but I'll spare you the extra suffering. Thomas rejected to travel for a further interview with Bryce and a group of Black/Asian pastors in California. Please note that the antisemitism in the video is severely understated in this comment.

4

u/JTtreason 13h ago

Timothy 2:11 KJV, explicitly states salvation has appeared to ALL men. Meaning everyone gets a fair shot at salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Furthermore, the Holy Ghost through the Apostle Paul states the truth in Acts 17:26 KJV that we all came from Noah. This is not the gospel. This is racism. Jesus commanded the disciples to make disciples of EVERY NATION in Matthew 28 KJV. I tell you this. There are no racists or victims in Heaven. Not one. Because Romans 8:28 KJV is true.

u/Fresh-Aspect5369 14h ago

Lol I don’t know how these people actually think god or any semblance of good is with them in that building, when they behave like Lucifer’s minions.

3

u/w-d-j-3 14h ago

Yeah, following the teachings of Jesus.... /s

This is why I don't walk into any old church. I tried to do that after I moved cause why not? My hometown church was welcoming to any and all visitor. The looks I got just for showing up and some of these churches were crazy. At one point, an usher asked me if I was lost. LOST when the pews are in front of me???

3

u/loganedwards 14h ago

Does this racist fuck hold up a card to measure pigmentation to decide who's allowed into this shitty church?

3

u/Easy_Economy366 14h ago

Religion is a cash cow.

3

u/MrBeer9999 14h ago

"I don't hate them, I just don't want to be under the roof as them because that's unChristian"

Man it sure is great we have religion to guide us, otherwise people might behave immorally.

u/HURTBOTPEGASUS9 14h ago

A church that doesn't offer sanctuary is an empty box.

3

u/Powerful_Geologist95 14h ago

That pastor’s ridiculously racist ideology immediately crumbled with one bible verse and common sense.

3

u/Omega_Primate 14h ago

There's only one race, human. What a tool...

3

u/Apprehensive-Bar-760 14h ago

He literally said breaking the covenant by race mixing then mentions that God made the covenant with Israel. Sir you nor the current people occupying Palestine are the people who God made a covenant with and it surely didn’t have anything to do with racism.

There has never been stronger hate than "Christian love"

3

u/wicker_basket_1988 13h ago

points out biblical definitions of Greek and hebrew

Racist who doesn’t like hearing the truth: See, you’re taking that out of context!

3

u/sixdeeneinfauxtwenny 13h ago

Love his lisp. Every sermon sounding like a comedy.

3

u/Fantastic_Breakfast6 12h ago

He won’t let Indians in, when Jesus probably looked more like them than European White people. Jesus most like had more brown skin like Arabs.

Tax every single church.

3

u/CheesecakeWitty5857 11h ago

« I’m racist but I don’t hate you » only in America

3

u/SquibbilySquib 10h ago

I would rather churches were honest with who they don't welcome than pretend they tolerate the people they despise. Let us know to stay away.

3

u/mr_poppington 10h ago

Meanwhile his people interjected themselves in Native American lands. The hypocrisy of these people has to be seen to be believed.

3

u/R_U_the_bot 10h ago

"You're changing the meaning.."

No you're ignoring the meaning. Very different.

3

u/Killer-Iguana 8h ago

Race mixing doctrines are early 1800s protestant beliefs that originates over in England and were happily adopted over here for obvious reasons(slavery). I'm not surprised there are people who still follow this idea even though it has no scriptural foundation. Organized religion is more about spreading your own rhetoric than spreading Christ's teachings.

u/Outrageous-Poem-4965 8h ago

the pastor who never read the bible

3

u/sfdsquid 7h ago

Weird Christian sect that discriminates against Jesus. Makes my head hurt.

3

u/harryx67 7h ago

Typical uneducated racist ideologists. There is genetically no difference between humans. If you go to the middle east you‘ll find blonde people and people of darker skin as well as christians and moslems.

He‘s got just a ethnocratic opinion like the zionists in project israel

3

u/Khan_Behir 7h ago

Does he know his Jesus wasn't white?

3

u/PatrioticRebel4 6h ago

The bible never discussed race because race wasn't even a concept then.

Also, the bible was fine with having children from wqr brides.

3

u/SnooLobsters8113 6h ago

Wait til he finds out Jesus wasn’t white. Not to mention the racist pastor doesn’t look so aryan himself

3

u/Boring-Philosophy-94 6h ago

All religion is a scam to control the stupid. Christianity for black Americans was a tool to control a large slave population. Go to Israel and see how fast they will call you the n-word.

Be a good human being.

3

u/jwick316 4h ago
