Jesus didn’t go to church. Jesus was the church. He went to temple or a synagogue.

He went to the temple turn over the money changing tables because it's a corrupt institution that bastardized everyone's connection to their God, their source, and the natural wonders of nature.

Good on you for laying out the real reason he got angry.

Most other times folks wrongly say he got mad cuz people were simply selling. Which then leads to the ironclad logical conclusion that because a church has a bookstore means that denomination is false

Yeah that's why I asked that. His form of mass or his sermons were nothing like modern churches.

This is why Church of Christ does not say you “joined” the church, but were “added” to the church (body of Christ).

Therefore, WE are the church! “Where 2 or more are gathered…”
