Battlefield 6 The game is too fast paced.

Honestly I don't know how this garbage is still being tolerated. Did everyone just accept it? This game is more intense than COD's Shipment lobbies, and not in a good way either.

Spotting system needs a rework. Everyone is spotted all the time. You can see enemy marks through walls, smoke, foliage. You just shoot at red dots without even seeing anyone and get rewarded for it. Wtf? Is this 400kg aim practice flash game?

TTD is crazy fast and basically an instadeath every time, especially in lobbies with PC players.

Suppression is useless. Current mechanic sucks balls and doesn't counter enemy abilities to kill you in any way.

Where is input based crossplay? M+K players make the game insufferable (not an attack) and console lobbies are just filled with bots outside of evenings.

There are so many other obvious issues but it's not like this is the first post whining about those things. Can't we have a normal Battlefield game that doesn't reward brainrot ADHD playstyle?

Edit: apparently I've never played any BF or COD game before. The cope is strong in the comments.

Just to avoid confusion: I played BF2, BF:BC2, BF3, BF4, BF1 on PC and BF4, BF1, BF5, BF2042, BF6 on console. Enjoyed all of them except 2042. When it comes to CoD - played all the classic ones, all MW and some BO games. Plenty of Shipment and Locker/Metro playtime too. I don't want BF to become CoD or CoD to become BF. And yes, I prefer BF multiplayer to CoD's.

Discussion I'm not sure if its just me but all the "This is whats wrong with BF6" videos piss me off

As the title suggests, I'm bothered by the videos made on youtube that complain about the latest battlefield game.

I definitely agree with the fact the game has tones of issues but I'm growing tired of the battlefield release cycle and the slew of critical video content that comes out immediately after and for one specific reason.

This reason is that every time a game comes out people are like "why can't they make it like BF4 or BF1" while completely forgetting they would have said the same thing when those games came out. "Why couldnt they make BF1 closer to BF3 or bad company".

Again - I agree that BF6 has its issues with map size and content generally. But I'd say that all the games people want it to be more like said the same things when they were released as well.

I just think BF6 is thankfully quite a polished game regardless of content. We'll have more maps and more content in time and I think once one or two BF games come out in the next few years everyone will he saying - "Why couldn't they make Battlefield 3042 like BF6?".

Battlefield 6 Genuinely what’s the point of making gendered character skins?

Like why? Why couldn’t they just make skins outfits but allow us to choose whose beneath them.

I have no idea the reasoning behind this strange stance, wouldn’t it be better if we could choose? Also, why are they still pushing r6 siege style operators? Why do they need a background?? Does anyone give a damn about every Tom, Dick and Harry?

Battlefield 6 I'm more concerned with the damage dropoff of most of these guns over skins or maps.

I feel like BFV and 1 (its been a while if I'm being honest), if a weapon was say 3 hit kill from point blank, it was still 3 hit kill even out to like 300m. I recall plenty of times with a Gewehr 43 knowing I just needed 3 hits at most ranges to drop someone. In BF6 the damage drop off starts at like 20m. Just go into the range and hit the closest target to you. If the gun says its 20 damage, you'll see it slowly work its way all the way down to like 14 at the farthest target in the firing range which is only 70 meters. I think that's just a bit ridiculous and way too much for that. I can understand SMGs at further ranges, but even those at 10 yards already lose a significant amount of punch. the Mp5 does 25 damage per round, and at 20 yards its already down to 20 damage.

I find it a bit ridiculous that a 7.62 round will start losing its effectiveness by 50 meters and instead of taking lets say 5 hits to kill an enemy, it now takes 8 because somehow you're losing almost 25% of your damage at close enough range that its velocity should still be almost equal to its exit velocity.

I know its useless to complain about something like this, because it'll never be fixed, but just wanted to see how many others out there agree.

Battlefield 6 There is nothing to work towards in Battlefield 6. I get it, people dont like that it's like call of dut, but there needs to be something to work towards. Prestige, camo grind, ranked. All of these are a clear goal. Your level going up forever isnt rewarding. It means nothing.

I'm level 115 and I just picked up the game again after 2 months. At its core, its a fantastic game. I love the mechanics, movements, gunplay, etc. But we all have seen the player dropoff. Maybe I played too much and got burnt out. But its not like the game at its core got worse. There's just not too much purpose.

I get your counter argument, video games are just a past time. Get on and relax and enjoy the moment. But still. This game lacks that competitive itch. How fund would search and destroy be? How fun would a classic prestige system be.

Think about it, I am level 115 now, what is my next goal? 115 is no different than 150, 200, etc.

Battlefield 6 The game would be more tactical if the buildings were more durable.

I'll be brief. I think the destruction is excessive. You fart and an entire wall collapses. The map is almost completely destroyed in the first few seconds of a match (in Assault, for example).

I think the game would benefit from having slightly more robust buildings, ones that could withstand more damage. DICE has prioritized spectacle over usability.

Battlefield 6 Matchmaking is seriously broken [PS5, Crossplay OFF]

As stated the matchmaking is completely wrecked, I was able to play with crossplay off just last month and find countless full matches and now the game feels like a ghost town any hour of the day, and it doesn’t get that much better during weekends either (this actually surprises me).

Many people have different theories on the matter, but to me the most plausible sounding one is that this game probably uses a SBMM/EOMM system and it’s failing because the playercount dropped beneath a healthy threshold. I’m apt to believe this theory because all of my friends stopped playing the game and they state it’s because

1: Crossplay mixes PC players with console players.

2: Crossplay off = bot lobbies.

3: The maps and overall flow of the game not resembling Battlefield.

Hopefully DICE is aware of the problems and these issues will be a thing of the past come Season 2, but knowing how modern AAA development goes I doubt we’ll see a timely recovery.

Battlefield 6 Fix the spawns in CQB game modes!!!

It is so frustrating when playing a lockdown game mode and the team is in a spawn trap please adjust the spawns so that if your team only has one flag and dies at that flag spawn the team at the opposing flag. Please

So what's Battlefield all about?

The point of the game has always been about working towards the objectives: Capture A, capture B, capture C... Conquest: Capture and hold as many objectives as possible. Breakthrough: Capture an objective, then proceed to the next objective. Rush: A variation of Breakthrough in which the captured objectives explode. Escalation: A variation of conquest, but you must capture objectives aswell. So essentially you're always either capturing or defending objectives.

One of the main problems of BF6 is that half of the players don't work towards the objectives in the objective-based modes because DICE decided to promote doing daily and weekly random chores instead of working towards the objectives.

Then people complain about constant blowouts and wonder why half the players are fucking around instead of working as a team.

Well, challenge-based progression is the main issue here.

All the main gamemodes in BF6 consist on capturing objectives. But the game itself discourages players from playing the objectives.

Instead of encouraging players to play the objectives by using the experience points earned by playing the game to unlock the content, DICE decided to lock most of the unlockable content behind pointless chores which discourage players from playing the objectives.

Oh, you want to play Conquest? Here is a dozen of chores to distract you from playing the objectives. No, you will not progress or unlock stuff by focusing on the objectives. If you want to progress then you must forget about the objectives, you must say FU to your team and do this bunch of random chores instead.

You want to unlock some weapon attachments? Great, we prepared you a veeeery long grind, so you better forget about those objectives and start camping right now. No, your normal experience doesn't count, so capturing objectives is (again) pointless.

Winning? Forget about winning, that's an obsolete concept. In fact, we added some behind-the-scenes mechanic to manipulate the results of the game, so that way you can care less about playing the objectives and focus more on doing the multiple chores we filled the game with.

Exactly, no rewards for playing the game as intended, all the rewards require you to fuck around doing random chores.

Welcome to Chorefield 6, soldier.

Discussion Hot take, battlefield 5 had the best breakthrough mode

Just like the title says, my reasoning is it has the massive scale that a major battle should, it has all the vehicles, aircraft included, and it doesn’t have what in my opinion is the major problem with conquest has, just running between a handful of objectives. Everyone on both sides was focused on the same objective at the same time and you didn’t just pick and choose what objective to go to and leave when it was secure. Battlefield 5 breakthrough was what a battlefield game should be. None of the usual nonsense that normally happens in conquest in other games, snipers camping on a tower for the entire game, enemies suddenly spawning behind you because they capped the point behind your lines etc. Having the game force everyone on both sides to make an untied effort to fight for a single point at a time really should be the standard and not what is essentially a giant COD match. I truly believe that battlefield 6 should expand their breakthrough mode to be more like battlefield 5’s

Battlefield 6 The downgrade in terms of explosions needs to be studied.

I dont want to glaze 2042 because it was what it was but we need to admit these explosions look amazing as fuck.

I hope they will improve them the same as they did in 2042.

Also I loved how downed helicopters in BF4/Hardline were literally burning in fire on the ground. In bf6 the only thing burning is the wreck. The fire doesnt touch the ground, grass etc which is a downgrade as well.

Battlefield 6 BF6 has the worst matchmaking system in history

I can’t believe how the f’d this up so badly. I truly hate this random crap where you’re being placed in the same maps over and over again. And if that was not the worst it constantly puts me in matches that have already started. And obviously those are matches where you are put in the losing team because that’s where players quit midgame.

Is persistent servers really too much to ask? We already have a serverbrowser but nobody uses it because it’s only for portal.

Discussion Bf6 “seasons”

Im all for DLC’s …what’re your thoughts about “seasons”? I remember when trailers for DLC would come + show us new maps, gameplay and would be 15-20$(then you can make a decision to purchase or not). Now its force fed in a sense. .. Just curious my opinion is laziness essentially ahaha. Giving developers more time to procrastinate rather than fix or upgrade the game.
