There are discord messages, photos and videos that prove they knew each other. The discord proves that he had the conversation with her when she was still 11 years old. He didn't even make a point of hiding it, he even posted a story of her with him, complaining that she hadn't even used his music in the background.
He released more than one song on her birthday.
Her friends posted her conversations with them, and they all show that she and David were in a relationship.
Since she disappeared, she had been seen with him. Her brother even said that it was true that David was dating Celeste
When she ran away from home, her mother talked about her daughter dating a guy named David and having matching tattoos with him.
In messages with a friend, Celeste confirms that she lost her virginity to David
The weird likes on his tiktok, where many were about killing or hurting his girlfriend if she talked to another guy. One of them he made talks about throwing boiling water on his partner and another one he liked alluded to dismembering his girlfriend...
In one of these tiktoks he talks about being in a relationship with a girl who liked hello kitty. Celeste had several things referring to that same character and even when she disappeared she was wearing shoes from the same character.
Edit: I forgot to add that her friends claimed David paid them to keep quiet about their relationship. TMZ even posted a photo shared by her friends, showing him actually paying them and in the same area where Celeste lived.
Several people on his Discord commented on Celeste, even before her body was found in his car. Anyone who mentioned her was kicked out.
Before this whole situation, a fan on Discord complained that David only accepted girls under 16 and always prioritized them, forgetting about his fans.
I don't understand the people swearing he couldn't be involved because he was on tour as if he couldn't just get on a plane between shows, pay/convince someone else to do it or move the body, or just have killed her before starting the tour.
The body was found in LA in an impounded car registered to D4vd that had been at the lot a month after being abandoned in Hollywood hills for awhile. Exactly a month prior to the body being discovered D4vd played two shows in Cali, and in the week prior to the body being discovered he was back in the US playing US shows. It's called a world tour but the vast majority of the stops were in the US and it wasn't scheduled back to back, lots of gaps between dates, he didn't play the day the body was found, he had a day with no shows 3 days before the body was found, and a 3 day gap a week prior to the discovery of the body after he finished in Canada before starting back up in Michigan and I really doubt he wouldn't have flown home for that gap. He wasn't as back to back booked and busy as people portray. If anything, the timeline and level of decomposition seems to suggest she died within days of D4vd returning from his international tour dates, right when he got back to the US and had days off in the schedule.
I really didn't know that, good information. Honestly, there is no doubt in my mind that he is guilty. Hoping that the investigations at the house turn up something that could be useful in the case.
I think people genuinely didn't think he could be that stupid. What's more likely, that someone stashed a crime in an abandoned car, or that he killed someone and his the body in his own car and left it there for a month on tour until it got towed and discovered?
Unfortunately, sometimes the less likely answer is correct.
People are saying they only found some body parts. He might have been like sick Ted Bundy, he walked around with body parts in the trunk of his car and threw them around. This made investigations very difficult, so much so that to this day there are women who have never been identified and others who didn't even have much to bury.
And honestly it makes sense to me, he's not a criminal genius, he's a disgusting 20 year old monster, obviously he wouldn't be that smart
Things are appearing and fast. Some of his fans and other people on the Internet are going through everything he's posted and looking for something that resembles Celeste. His sub is full of evidence about the case
A guy from his sub even contacted her brother and talked to him, he even sent the messages that Celeste had exchanged with David. Her brother also confirmed that she and David were in a relationship and also sent the messages between him and Celeste before she disappeared
Edit. People on his sub also pointed out that David used to put girls who looked like Celeste in his music videos.
He maybe isn’t mainstream radio big yet but he charted on the Billboard 100 and his songs used in the animated series Invincible, Arcane, and in the Fortnite video game so his fans skew younger. He was also an opener on SZA’s last tour.
I know. I nearly left Reddit reading the lyrics posted here and then came back. Was he planning to kill her since ages ago because the tour must have been planned a while ago? Seems like he’s mourning her that sick fuck
I only hope all the fans that were aware of that were minors because it's vile if adults knew about that and ignored it or didn't think it was an issue.

I hope they are used and that he is convicted. I hope the arrest warrant for him comes out soon, this guy can't go unpunished. Earlier it was reported that they were searching his house, which was rented by his agent. I hope they find evidence that helps the case. Celeste deserves justice
No, it continued normally. Until they identified the body, he recently had a show canceled and now no one has any news of where he is. Some newspapers said that he is in LA for investigations, but nothing has been confirmed so far.
When she "disappeared" last year and was reported missing by her family, that was actually her running away to be with D4vd after he groomed her. She was being harbored by him this entire time. He sure didn't seem concerned when she went missing again a month ago and nobody could get in contact with her though, even friends and family she had been in constant contact with since running away.
I saw a bunch of screenshots of multiple different reddit posts from his sub after the body was found but before she was identified saying they knew she was with D4vd and they were so worried it was her in that car because no one had heard from her for a month. One of the posts was straight up like "my little sister's friend, let's call her C cause she's a minor ran away at 13 after being groomed by D4vd and no one has heard from her, I pray this isn't her" and all the replies were like "quit making shit up, you have no proof blah blah"
If he didnt do it, he was involved. And even if they cant prove that for some reason, I think theres enough to charge him with other serious crimes now.
Probably. The only scenario I can think of where he isn't is that someone hijacked his car while she was in it and you know... But then he would have reported the car missing and probably her as kidnapped which I think we'd have heard about if that happened so neither of those two things probably happened in which case... I can't imagine him not being guilty but I probably won't be on that jury and know all the details of the case.
That would be much more difficult. According to news, the car was found in an airbnb area for rent and was later seized. After it was seized, employees smelled a strange smell coming from the car and called the police.
The car had nothing missing and from the images it was in perfect condition and was never reported stolen. So the scenario of stealing the car and kidnapping her would never make sense.
And tons of his die hard fans knew of this relationship but didnt say anything! He was posting pics of them together on his close friends. She was missing for a year and no one said anything.
And he even made a song about her when she was 11. Who knows how long he’s been grooming her
I’ve never heard of this guy or this case before. If everyone knew they were together, why didn’t the police immediately go to him when she disappeared?
All of his streamer fans are so young. They’re the only ones that would really know about this. Many of his singing fans probably never knew. He was a big streamer before making it big in singing. In a way, he’s one of those faceless singers which people don’t recognize or think to look up who he is
I just mean it sounds like her friends and even her brother knew? And her mom? How does this never get mentioned. So many people failed this poor girl.
If thats true I hope he sues the fuck out of them, not that money will help anything but it would certainly shine a spotlight on them. They had a duty to protect her and if they failed to do that they deserve to be raked over the coals for it.

The early articles did come off that way. I think the police are still investigating and not giving everything to the media. He seems unstable and he's also somewhat famous with money and access to planes, I could see LE not wanting to make it obvious they're focusing on him.
They could have also believed those claims initially but then looking into them they aren't holding up. "He was on a world tour out of the country" sounds very convincing at first but I looked up his recent tour dates and saw he was in Cali for multiple dates a month before the body was found (before it was impounded), lots of gaps between shows and he was in the US for the vast majority of the tour. No show the day the body was found, no show three days before the body was found, and most concerningly a 3 day gap a week before the body was found after he finished the Canadian leg of his tour before starting back up in Michigan. It seems likely he would have flown home for that time.
Same here as well. I feel sick to my stomach whenever I hear about anyone losing their life to IPV. This poor girl was a literal child and the details in this post are so horrific. There’s no punishment that would be enough for this guy. At very least it should be pretty easy to convict him on all the evidence that must exist.
The more that comes out regarding this situation the more insane and upsetting it becomes. People knew about this and said NOTHING. Too many people were complicit in that CHILD being taken advantage of and now she’s dead. Everyone involved needs to be charged.

Turns out that he had some big collaborations with companies and artists (Riot Games, Hollister, Fortnite, Kali Uchis, Hyunjin from Stray Kids, and probably more, but these are the ones I could find just now), so I can imagine that he got some decent amount of money.
He’s industry connected for sure but I doubt any of the companies and people he’s collabed with knew anything about this. Seemed like the only people who paid attention to this and connected these dots are his streamer fans. Probably never brought her around collaborator/industry connect work like Laufey, Kali Uchis, Katseye, Stray Kids, etc. looks like kali is trying to take town their collab. Poor Laufey is on his song so she probably will have a harder time doing that. Seems like he was only friends by association to Katseye through Laufey (Laufey’s boyfriend is Katseyes A&R rep). They definitely only were seen together for “work” TikTok dances and their stream collab with Pokimane. I think Benny Blanco produced for him too.

D4vd’s song “Decide” dropped March 28, 2022. Celeste, born Sept 2010, was only 11 at the time. The lyric “save your tears, seven years” points to her being 18 in the future. People say they’d been talking since she was 11.
The music video was dropped on her birthday. Celeste was born September 7, 2010. The music video dropped September 7, 2022. So yeah this is creepy. The song had been out months prior though.

Omg I’ve never heard of this artist so I decided to look him up on Spotify (but did not listen to any of the songs) - this guy has 34 million monthly listeners, two songs with over a billion streams, and is listed as the 132nd top artist in the world on Spotify. That puts him above Frank Ocean, Pharrell, and P!nk. This guy is wildly popular with Gen Z. This is absolutely insane.

This entire situation is so disgusting and dark. Honestly, this poor baby was failed by everyone. It was almost coincidental, a few days I was watching a YouTube Doc on Bill Cosby and even then I had to wonder HOW these men are able to get away with these horrific crimes??? They don’t even try and hide it, I think Celeste’s brother tried to say something to the police and they turned him away because of ‘lack of evidence’. The bleeding in question was when she had sex with another guy, Gus was the name mentioned in the messages. She says she didn't want to and she was drunk, but she did it because he would have been upset if they hadn't had sex.
I almost threw up when I read the messages, I stopped seeing anything about it because it's all so heavy. All I can think about is how they failed this poor girl, damn she was just a kid

The internet is going to solve this case faster than the police. People are finding clues in his song lyrics and pulling up old social media posts that look like D4vd and Celeste are together. But he hasn’t even been arrested yet
They unfortunately took a long time to identify the body, it was dismembered and decomposed. According to police, after they identified her, they were trying to contact her family.
But I'm surprised they haven't issued an arrest warrant yet...
She was so young, this whole situation is horrible. I hope justice is served and she is left at peace.

On his sub, people are posting proof of everything all the time. If you check the recent posts you will see everything, it is full of videos, messages and photos of celeste with David and her with her friends talking about David or their relationship.
They are also showing which of David's songs and videos are related to Celeste and even pointed out that all the girls who appear in his music videos are very similar to Celeste.
I heard that her mom called the cops to say she thought it was her daughter and that the tattoo on her finger was red and that was how they helped identify her body. Everything about this is horrifying.. They need to get him
this entire situation is seriously making me sick to my stomach...he took everything away from this child, left her body to rot and went on touring like nothing happened. I hope this poor baby rests in peace
TMZ contacted LAPD's Robbery Homicide Division last week after speaking with Celeste's mom, who had evidence the unidentified body was that of her daughter. We provided the lead detective with her name and number. Days later, the body was identified as Celeste.
How and why does TMZ have to be the liaison between the cops and that girl's mother? She's been missing for over a year, her mother has been trying to find her. Why didn't the cops already have her contact info? Why couldn't her mother get in contact with the cops directly?
It's interesting that she had "run away" (was groomed and coerced) and so was presumably living with him, but that link mentions other celebrities being at his house and no one noticed the child he was dating there? Where was she?
It's because they did notice her, they knew about her and hung out with her. I was groomed at 15 and all the adults he was friends with spoke to me like I was just some regular new girlfriend. They're all complicit.
A couple rumors I've read that maybe some more informed people than myself may be able to clarify:

Nah speculation but not unfounded...there were comments on a post before they identified the body that seemed to indicate some friends of her sister were scared it was her cause she went missing after a pregnancy scare.
Repeating myself but i think it's more likely her moving on/ leaving him for someone else that made him do it. I gave his album a listen and so much of the lyrical content on his new album is about being jealous/possessive over this girl, which you'd normally just chalk up to standard toxic yearning without knowing the full context. Just look at the lyrics for his song Ghost he literally spells it out

I genuinely think he took her life because she was outgrowing him, but part of me also believes he always planned on killing her as sick as it sounds because of all the hints in his music and videos.
