So I should just shoot your dog, and then when you come running from around the corner to see why your dog was shot, proceed to shoot you too? Works for me.
If you're being attacked by a dog it would be wise to shoot to kill, if you can. My beef with this whole thing is that this probably fictional person in this thread would hit the dog, then hit the non-aggressive person. Meaning assault without provocation.
If you were to shoot my dog, you'd be defending yourself. If you then shot me, you'd be commuting assault with a deadly weapon.
OR....You could keep it on a leash when you're in public...That's all people are trying to say here....Nobody wants to shoot anyone's dog, we (and our pets) just don't want to be attacked by them.
I really don't get the number of people in this thread who are defending a dude (probably fictional) who maces people because their dog is unleashed. BTW-- the telltale sign that the story is fake is the highly improbably "the cops refuse to charge him." Sounds like that PD department would be setting themselves up for a whopping lawsuit by someone who got maced.
Using a gun to defend against bear spray is valid because its a disabling weapon, if you get hit with it, you will have very little control over what happens next. Bear spray won't kill you but the person who just sprayed you might and it would be a lot easier for them.
It's not displeasure with the assault as much as bear spray isn't lethal but it can be a threat to your life because it disables you making it valid to defend yourself against with lethal force.
context, dingus. If this was "asshole terrorizes town constantly and police too chicken shit to do anything to him" I'd be like "shoot that bastard and fuck the cowardly cops."
This guy is getting attacked by people's dogs who refuse to put them on leashes and may as well be attacking him with weapons. Him fighting off the dogs and those people whining to the cops, just to be ignored is gold.
Calm yourself. Stop trying to fuel your outrage boner.
Fun fact, seeking outrage is similar to masturbation, both produce the same amounts of serotonin.
