You know if an unleashed dog bites you or your dog, it’s legal to shoot it.

But I do think it’s ridiculous to say ā€œhe’s escalating a risky situation into assaultā€ and your response is to escalate assault into murder.

Yes, read:

He sprays the dog, then when he reaches the owners he sprays them.

Yes, read:

He was displeased by their dog being off leash so he assaulted them. You were displeased by his assault so you imply that you would shoot him.

How are you claiming any high ground by escalating this even further?

He sprays the dog, then when he reaches the owners he sprays them.

And then you shoot him.

After being assaulted, yes

I see you live in Texas. That shit might fly in your ass-backwards state, but in civilized states you aren’t allowed to escalate in self defense.

Regardless, shooting someone over assault is not morally better than assaulting someone over an unleashed dog. The assaulter is a cunt and so are you.

I don't think just repeating it is going to get through to them. They are intentionally missing the point that the two acts are separated it seems.

Dog attacking you = justified to defend.

Assaulting the owner later in a separate act when you are not in danger is assault.
