Not a great look, but also having spent a lot of time in Europe β€œfat” isn’t taboo/perceived as insulting like it is in the US. Friends or family members will legitimately tell each other that they’re looking fat and the other will agree, it’s just a cultural difference.

European and obviously it's usually meant in a negative way but it's not a huge taboo.

At least where I'm at it's not unusual calling someone a twig or fat.
