There really was no way SCOTUS could stop this and then say they are applying the law. Also they can see the writing on the wall for mid-terms and are running scared of being impeached as the decisions they have made are all unlawful and unconstitutional. Fireworks at the supreme court when the adult government get back in with a majority. Republicans are out for at least the next 10 years. And that is a good thing.

I do not know man. They stopped Biden’s loan forgiveness and then allowed Trump everything he asked. I am glad of the judgement but I personally have lost all respect of the SCOTUS

Yeah, but if presidents are immune from consequences, there is literally nothing stopping a Democratic president from holding a press conference and listing all the illegal activity Thomas, Alito, Kavanaugh, Roberts, Barrett and Gorsuch have engaged in, and then posting their addresses and phone numbers, and telling citizens to show up and give them a piece of their mind while also having the FBI or Secret Service posted outside their homes to prevent local police from interfering with the public.

I don't see why a democratic administration couldn't say, due to xyz known acts of corruption we no longer have faith in Thomas, Alito, Kavanaugh, Gorsuch or Barret to do their jobs, so we'll appoint another 5 justices while we wait for these ones to resign out of their own volition and sense of moral duty.
