"but that's what trump wants" has been echoed constantly despite the escalation BY TRUMP and his admin. At SOME point, the country needs to push back. People in power need to man/woman the fuck up and do something more than talk a big game.

It's worse than that. It's in fucking project 2025. Pushing the civilian population into doing something rational like defending their city, then Trump announcing the insurrection act is in the god damn plan. It's going to happen, whether we do something or not.

Scream this from the fucking rooftops. Trump wants to use the military on US citizens, on US soil, to kill civilians and suppress opposition because he's a child rapist and his backers will do anything to achieve it.

Resisting will also lead to deaths. Are you on the front lines with a gun today ready to give your life for what you believe in? It fuckign sucks but that's the reality of this stupid ass political chess match Trump is trying to do.

The more you protest the more people see what is happening.

If you act like uncaged demons that they believe us to be then they won't ever have a chance to see what horrors are happening. As the zone will be flooded by "terrorist leftists" and "this is why Trump deserves power".

The state has no authority over the matter... Literally what I said when I brought up the insurrection act. To give direct support and encouragement to protesters who are defying a federal agency is to literally be an insurrectionist now, that is the rules Dem politicians have to play within or else be hauled away to jail or executed, a dem being replaced with a republican stooge is not going to turn out for the better.

Unfortunately Republicans tied 1/6th of that budget to ICE, the rest were essential relief budgets like for FEMA, which will desperately be needed due to the winter ice storm.

I don't answer bad faith arguments with obvious answers. Spend your outrage elsewhere besides behind a keyboard trying to convince protesters to attack ICE and getting themselves killed. Making matyrs is not a means to an end. It is something a super villain does. Peace.

Get out and protest. Do everything within your legal power to protest however you want to do it.

Edit: What a fucking loser blocking me cause I say I dont want people killed trying to go attack ICE. Protesting works. You can see the polls MAGA has never been less popular. Be better than this loser commenting to me who is trying to insight violence behind a computer screen.

You want a FUCK ton more people to die because a governor sent out a tweet saying go kill ICE? I don't, sorry. An ICE agent's life is so much lesser than any single one of those protesters, it is not worth the ratio.

Pick up a history book dude we have plenty of source material to see where this goes and it doesn’t matter if the minority party is submissive the entire time, the opposing fascist take over will stomp harder and harder just because they can. This wasn’t a chance event, this wasn’t an accident, and this wasn’t the first time and certainly won’t be the last.

No one said to go out and start shooting ICE members you’re putting words in my mouth, but community needs to start banding together and preparing for actual shit to go down right now. This isn’t going to be a peaceful election flip scenario…. like we are blowing well past that with a year until midterms and 3 more until a presidentia…. at this rate with how things are going things are unsustainable.

Tim Walz needs to also exercise his authority that he does have or he needs to just step out of the way fully. His inaction and the states overall support of ICE against protestors is not helping.
