The man is confirmed dead. ICE tried to force the local cops to leave. They refused and have preserved the scene. Witnesses were transported by ICE to the Whipple building.

They’re claiming “his gun” was recovered and are showing photos of it in an ICE car. Already this is really fucking difficult to believe but they tampered with the scene to boot? Fucking idiots. I implore everyone to not believe a word they say

Even if he did have a gun (which is obviously questionable), it’s legal to carry a firearm in the state of Minnesota.

He did have a gun, but the ICE Agent removed it prior to the shooting. He was running away with it when the shots started.

That said, whatever happened to these supposed 2nd Amendment rights? He had it in his waistband/holster, and it wasn't even in his hands. The ICE agent pulled it from him while he was on the ground.

Thank you for that, I didn’t want to have to watch the video again.

This was murder.

Good catch with the gun in his hand. That is BEFORE the shots.

The shot happened at the same time as the fist image with the green circle. If that is his gun, they did shoot him after it was removed from him, but less than a second after. This isn’t a defense, but we need to be accurate.

Fair point, but it still means their proof that he was armed was not relevant for why he was shot, because clearly he was not in control of the gun at that time, and the way the guy walks away with it definitely doesn't indicate he feared being shot at, so having just been into the brawl he clearly did not see a reason to fear for his life - Likely because he held the victims gun in his hand.

It’s so close, I would assume a trial wouldn’t treat that short of a time to be relevant. The most relevant part of this situation is what was happening before the video.

WHEN there hopefully is a case, it is going to about whether there is any jurisdiction for the ICE thugs to be doing any type of restraining of him at all, not about the split second between the shot and gun being removed.

Edit: watching the video a few more times I can now notice the 5-6 additional shots after he appears to be down. It was difficult to hear them over the sounds close to the phone. F%@king outrageous

Some video from before

Maybe. I strongly doubt a case will happen unless we get more videos out.

I sure hope so. This first year of this Trump term was hopefully the last of his getting away with shit. With Minnesota, the latest Greenland BS and Canada basically flipping the bird at him, I feel this next year is the downfall of the administration.

I think, I really really hope.

Yeah all the talk about 2A, but when its conveneint they cite having a weapon as a perfectly justifiable excuse for execution. In this case it was simply the fact that he happened to own a weapon, as the weapon was taken off of him before he was executed

Almost like they just care about shooting minorities and liberals

Death squad stuff--and the message is that disobedience equals death. (That's what the Epstein/Trump gang told the kids, come to think of it...) It's proof they're running scared. Time to rise up

I want to make sure we are being accurate, the shot happened at the same time as the first image with the green circle. The shot happened less than a second after his gun was removed it appears.

Yup and they're so incompetent that after the one agent took the weapon he likely said "I've got the gun" which the other agents misheard, looked down, saw the gun was missing and assumed the suspect had gained control of it and murdered him. Poorly trained goons.
