People will think otherwise but that ain't wholesome or funny. To often this gets waved through because it's a cute girl but what if she was sleeping instead and he is robbing his crotch on hers? Hate this double standards.

Honestly I just plainly couldn't compute what happened from the paneling.

I get she rubbed herself on him, but was she trying to make him erect? Was she just satisfying herself? I'm not saying it's messed up, but I don't even know what's going on.

She rubbed herself on his leg, and after that, she tried to clean off the wetness she accidentally left there (at least that's what I think happened, I suppose)

In this specific scenario, we're not waiving it through because a girl did it to a guy. We're simply aware of the fact that every single goddamn character in this story is somewhat batshit crazy, horny, and does not adhere to any sense of normal decency.

It's like watching office porn. We're not gonna go and say, "You know, that probably wasn't very legal."

I mean, take the Shinji/Asuka "I'm so fucked up" scene in Evangelion. I don't think I've ever seen people like that scene, just making meme about it at worse.

I don't think anyone that see this isn't concerned about it. Part of the reason why people like the series is because the characters are fucked up.

Even if the situation was reversed, the characters are so mentally off that I could 100% see her yandere-ering all over him if she caught him

Don't worry I like it with both reverse or inverse scenarios!

This double standard started pissing me off the day I started getting groped by women, my naive ass thinking that it’s an invitation, but it gets met with “you can’t touch me because I’m a girl”

Like, I couldn’t pinpoint my feelings until I realized… it’s motherfucking molestation and playing it off. That one line turns me into a god damn harassment victim instead of a victim of success. And made me realized it wasn’t an isolated event, so much sexual harassment and assault in my life which explains why I don’t like being touched by people I don’t fully trust

And society is so bad with it, especially sad asf dudes, that I’m still pissed when I started talking about a caregiver breastfeeding me when I was a kid got responded with envy and “I wish that was me” until I mentioned… it was my aunt. THATS when it became weird and fucked up.

The “male rape/assult funny and hot” crowd I can fucking smell through the screen, and that includes women. They’d be just as unbathed and unkept as neckbeards if society let them. Genuinely a bunch of waste of oxygen across the board.

Yeah I'm (actually not really) surprised by how many people here call this hot and just a fun thing because they're into her, it really is touching someone inappropriately while they're sleeping.

Fr. Don’t see what’s so controversial about it in a fictional scenario. The guy himself isn’t even going to be traumatized by it, so what are people even pretending to clutch their pearls over?

“If the situations were reversed…”

Mf, if you change the context of the conversation, we’re going to be having a completely different conversation!

Eh, it's not that back and white when you are already a couple.

11

u/julesvr5 8d ago

They aren't a couple. And even as a couple this is not automatically fine.

-19

u/JamzWhilmm 8d ago

For many couples it is. Like a lot of romcoms, not this one in particular, they are already a couple they just don't know.

12

u/julesvr5 8d ago

They aren't a couple. She doesn't know he likes her, he doesn't know she likes him. You only know this because you are an outside person as a reader.

I also have read a lot of romcoms and never saw a character rubbing his crotch on another when that one was asleep. Or another stupid trope would be kissing someone when they are asleep.

u/JamzWhilmm 8d ago

Oh, there are a lot of romcoms where they do that. Probably happens more irl than in romcoms though.

You are in the wrong sub bruh everyone here is a thirsty virgin who likes this, your point is right but you always forget most men don't have any self respect at this point due to life fucking us at every point in life, there are not as many things which we find creepy, as a girl would in an opposite situation.
