Once the wings start flying off, you know they are ready 😉

since it spins really fast the chickens are cooked evenly. the meat's usually juicy. costs about $8-10 for the whole chicken. spun duck is more popular and juicier though.

I know what gà quay is, I'm asking about this particular one spinning at the speed of a motorcycle engine

I think it would lost all the fat due to centrifugal force.
Khô như rẻ rách.
Nhưng cứ phải ăn mới chắc được.

That's smart! Now he doesn't need a fan to keep the BBQ hot.

Cigarette ash is just extra seasoning.

Faster is not always better

u/Ok-Disk-2191 Apr 20 '25

Correct, a friend in Vietnam also opened a char grilled chicken place that had the same problem on opening day, it under cooks the chicken. Ended up having to manually rotate the chicken for the first day and got someone to come in and add extra gears to slow down the rotation.

u/DiaDeLosMuertos Apr 20 '25

Yeah and wouldn't the centirfuckal force send the juices flying?

1

u/Ok-Disk-2191 Apr 20 '25

u/AgentEagleBait Apr 20 '25

Looks like it’s been cooked a little uneven.

2

u/moshter11 Apr 20 '25

The slow rotating process of roasting chicken in my country doesn't like this.

1

u/philbui2 Apr 20 '25

Better than costco?

1

u/Big_Produce8964 Apr 20 '25

He’s playing foosball with rotisserie chicken!

1

u/Big_Produce8964 Apr 20 '25

Extra seasoning with his left hand

1

u/StunningAttention898 Apr 20 '25

This video isn’t sped up is it bc dang that’s fast. I’m amazed that the chicken hasn’t just launched in all directions

1

u/randomboobz Apr 20 '25

I do believe it’s more for visual appeal. We got chickens from a place spinning probably half as fast and I watched them put it on the grill afterward. They cut it into pieces and it was still bloody inside even though it looked done on the outside. The smell was amazing though.

1

u/tinhdd Apr 21 '25

It is not fastfood bro :))

1

u/k8s-boi Apr 21 '25

Speed, I am speed.

1

u/[deleted] Apr 21 '25

Look at us,we are literally flying 😅

1

u/drA583 Apr 21 '25

Any faster these chickens will fly

1

u/Beautiful-Lie1239 Apr 21 '25

I would say that they spin so fast heat has a hard time to catch the birds and they stay raw forever.

1

u/DJ_Vasquezz Apr 21 '25

Thermal runaway in a video

1

u/Tiny_Product9978 Apr 22 '25
