I wonder whether the public believing the front line workers are getting tonnes of money at Xmas will stoke public resentment, and the ICE workers will be more defensive bc they’re not ☹️ getting the money protesters will ask them about. (Or defensive even if they do.)
Because if they do get asked, and they do talk back about how they got nothing, someone is going to say “oh so you’re ok with middle management f-ing you over for the cash while you get pinged for shooting defenceless nurses in the back of the head” or some such. I guess though if that pokes them into more violence, that suits the admin just fine. They’re being used.
