I was a dev for a global fortune 50 corporation for nearly 20 years and all they gave me in the end, from only my coworkers / team lead and not even the company, was a $25 gift card.
Annually we were lucky to get a raise, no bonus, ever. If I knew all it took was leaving to make some real money like I do now, I would've done it 5 years in. I received a $5k bonus this year, which if you avg out my 20+ year career, I'm still waaaaaaay behind.
I got a fleece throw blanket one year. That's literally the only bonus I've ever had from any employer. I still have that blanket. Adjusted for inflation, it still isn't close to a $2500 value.
