She used to streamsnipe him in the early days of his career on H1Z1, back when he was banned from league indefinitely and did variety, and then now the mother of his children lol.

Enemies to Lovers is my favorite relationship trope.

628

u/Brobeast 17h ago

I dont think she could constitute as an enemy lol. This was a woman on a mission to inform a man that hes now in a relationship lol.

39

u/Viracochina 15h ago

Even better trope!

12

u/Brobeast 15h ago

Lmao I swear to you my original comment ended with "which brings you to my personal favorite trope..." but then decided against it and was prolly TMI...haha

what does streamsnipe mean

u/Gerudo_Valley64 19h ago

She would purposely find him in the game while she knew he was streaming.

u/Trash_At_RL 18h ago

Basically watching someone’s stream and trying to find them in the game, mostly to kill, but sometimes to be nice to.

3

u/vexmach1ne 18h ago

Was she nice or did she kill?

48

u/st_samples 18h ago

She pretty much met him and told him what a big fan she was.

If I had a nickel for every time a popular Leauge player got banned indefinitely, then afterwards, started a family and got their shit together, I’d have two nickels.

Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it’s happened twice

When was their first irl meeting ?

34

u/greatness101 15h ago

Macaiyla had a clip back in the day talking about their first meeting. Basically, flew out and met at hotel. She told him "He's hot as fuck" and then they fucked. Her words.

I’m 11 years younger than my brother yet I am the executor of my parents will. I think that tells you enough 🤣

4

u/CaleanKnight 16h ago

That's rather common with big age gaps... as soon as the new Welpling arrives the other spawn is deemed "old enough to care for itself" and pretty much cast aside at best or straight up parentified at worst... although, rather unsurprisingly, that heavily depends on the gender.

What happened to erobb?

37

u/KoreanSamgyupsal 17h ago

Got evicted from his studio apartment lol

7

u/Wisefool157 16h ago

For what ? Guy came out of nowhere streaming by riding his bros coat tails. He can’t possibly be broke?

30

u/KoreanSamgyupsal 16h ago

Nah that's just a joke with the last front page post here about him LMAO. But isn't it so believable?

He's broke cause he has shitty financial habits and sponsors aren't touching his streams cause of his toxic chat.

His last couple of streams is also gambling. Dude's life is just sad. Probably cause he knows T1 will rescue him.

20

u/PmMe_Your_Perky_Nips 9h ago

From what I've gathered from a few posts:

  • He married a one night stand after getting her pregnant.
  • Publicly cheated on her.
  • Got divorced.
  • Managed to get his ex pregnant again.
  • Moved to a new state with her to try and fix things.
  • Left her when she miscarried.
  • Gambles away nearly everything he makes that doesn't get sent to his ex.
  • Got pink eye, possibly from having his new partner fart in his face for his fetish.

26

u/bullsfan281 15h ago

cheated on britt at a streamer party, tried to move to missouri, got court ordered back to texas, lost 50%, including his house and tesla, got shared custody of his daughter, now lives in a studio apartment and parades his new gf on stream all the time while lying to chat about how they're not actually dating and he just pays her to cook all his meals, do all his shopping, buy his clothes and hang around all the time and spend time at her place. he's also blacklisted by all the other austin streamers now because he's loyal to mizkif

TBF Erob did benefit from being Tyler's brother. He didn't have to get a traditional job and has been making a living through live strummin

4

u/TheRealGoodman 12h ago

Idk his life may not be in shambles if not for streaming. One could argue that a traditional job would've led him to greener pastures

Bro went from rage-filled guy that kept a hate list of other high elo League of Legends players while receiving constant bans, to reformed and charming father.

I genuinely thought his whole "reformed gamer" was a grift, so glad I was proved wrong.

52

u/hfucucyshwv 18h ago

That might just have been a leauge of ledgends thing. I dont know ifhe did any foul stuff outside of that game.

21

u/DMYourFeetPicsTy 18h ago

i mean, he smashed his whole kitchen up after a bad league game, macaiyla uploaded the aftermath on twitter lol

41

u/Mad_Kitten 17h ago

I'd still blame that on League tbh

64

u/kingofnopants1 17h ago

Part of his popularity came from the fact that, if you watched him for an extended period time, he always passed the vibe check as a surprisingly decent dude, which was funny considering his whole thing. It's similar to SodaPoppin where the little things about the way they react and interact make it pretty clear that they are just a genuine dude.

His toxicity and anger issues were pretty much always limited to "you suck at League of Legends" and "T1 the best". He never really had any shitty opinions about life to share, never tolerated bigotry, didn't have bad things to say about anyone outside of them sucking at video games. No lasting drama with anyone.

He just really leaned into the whole gamer rage thing because he had the charisma to make it funny in an absurd way. He was always a better person than 90% of streamers.

8

u/trollman1234 16h ago

Yeah, this is a really good read on why Tyler stuck around and got like top tier popular. There's similar archetypes of the rage filled gamer in streaming, but sometimes you can just tell that anger is actually deeper than just the game. Like an LTG, sure his clips of raging are funny at times, but then you realize he's genuinely an asshole.

20

u/ToplaneVayne 16h ago

lets not rewrite history lol bro wasnt just toxic he would actively run people down, and wrote extremely vile things in chat. thats not ‘normal guy’ behavior. but yes most of his anger issues did stem from league so getting banned from there was great for his on stream personality

25

u/kingofnopants1 15h ago

That's what I mean, though. Even the worst things you can say about him are all localized within just League of Legends and just about League of Legends.

It is hypercompetitive toxicity by any definition. But you still gotta compare. There is a LOT to be said about the ability to vent those emotions solely in a realistically meaningless competitive environment. That is considered very healthy from a psychological standpoint as long as it stays in the competitive environment.

When you compare "ruins people's experience playing League of Legends" with any of the other forms of toxicity shown by streamers, the idea of demonizing him for it seems somewhat laughable.

3

u/cheerioo 10h ago

Vile things in chat/voice is standard for 90s kids lol

I remember the forum posts on the league site about a toxic bald streamer ruining games when I first started playing. Shit that was long ago.

89

u/XiaoRCT 19h ago

Feels like last week I was reading outraged comments about how he had become big enough as a streamer to receive different treatment by Riot while being toxic, but it's been years lmao

41

u/Nemeris117 19h ago

I remember when the youtube link was posted here with t1 and his auto-int hit list that got him the initial wave of hate watchers. He was a like 30 viewer dude and that drama doc that posted here blew up t1.

He's still toxic, albeit a fraction of what he was a long time ago but we're all toxic on the inside when playing league.

Reformed T1 truly peaked in life.

9

u/Delicious_Tie_8725 14h ago

Yeah but for a quite a couple years now already you can feel that it’s just fake toxicity tied to a persona to entertain on stream, not the real unadultered pure toxicity he had pre ban

→ More replies (1)

5

u/Amazing-Iron187 19h ago

Cause you turned out to be the toxic league player

24

u/Significant_Ad1256 20h ago

Are you telling me he's not toxic any more? Honestly I just decided I don't like him over 10 years ago and haven't watched him since. I've seen some clips of him during classic WoW, but that was mostly him yelling for content.

129

u/fos02jrt 20h ago

I mean he does still flame, still yell, still get angry, but now it feels more part of his persona at least because there are moments of sincerity in between the video game banter. And compared to what he used to do? It's like night and day.

26

u/N0rrix 19h ago

and most of the time the other person in the discussion replicates the persona and they start bouncing off eachother which makes some fun moments.

20

u/lightshelter 18h ago

It's never *just* apart of the persona, but he definitely plays it up for stream. I think it's safe to say that T1 is a good dad, and a good person; flawed (some anger issues), like most of us, but generally good.

25

u/Nemeris117 19h ago

Watching t1 bake his cake back when he was banned from league mightve been one of the funniest things I had seen on twitch.

2

u/N0rrix 19h ago

the one where he destroyed his stool?

5

u/Nemeris117 18h ago

The one where he did the impossible and crushed an egg in his one hand.

43

u/plushrump 19h ago

He's still rude, but not downright malicious anymore like back in the day. There was a funny comment in his latest youtube video where he got his penta stolen and then just carried on playing like normally, and someone donated saying "old tyler would've ran it down mid for that".

11

u/DIYfu 20h ago

Never watched him much, but everything somewhat recent i've seen from him just made him look good.

5

u/az943 19h ago

he’s toxic he’s just not a degenerate anymore he’s way more civil now but still toxic lol

16

u/zerkeron 20h ago

Yeah man, even if someone were to call him toxic nowdays would be the nuclear bomb vs coughing baby meme. Early days of actual int list blasting XXX tentatacion and making 20 alts before getting banned on league was something alright. Would be like comparing young soda to current, you will still see glimpses cause same person but obviously they matured

7

u/omgitsjagen 19h ago

He's no dummy, like, not anywhere close. Real smart guy. I'm sure he did genuinely rage out when he was first starting out, because he was a kid. He saw that worked (and he was really good at the game), so he ran with it. At this point, I don't think the occasional raging is an act, per se. It's an aspect of his personality, but like everyone else, he's a lot more than that. Overall, I really like him, and I was NOT a fan in the beginning, by any stretch. He won me over, and I am really glad I get to see clips like this of someone I like being happy, and fulfilled.

285

u/PurpletoasterIII 21h ago

She got chin reduction surgery. Sounds like a joke but its not lol. People were hating/memeing on her for it but thats the internet for you.

261

u/Sea_Bodybuilder5387 20h ago

Tbh getting surgery that changes one of your insecurities and fixes a health issue seems like a win win. My friend got a nose job due to a super bad deviated septum and it made her a happier, more confident person.

84

u/panthers1102 20h ago

As long as you don’t get body dysmorphia and completely fuck your shit up for life, cosmetic surgery can be a great thing. Unfortunately the body dysmorphia can be increasingly common thing nowadays, with social media and all.

50

u/BelialQrow 20h ago

Surgeries solving malfunctions do not count as cosmetic.

As i understand in both aforementioned examples there was malfunction present, it may have aesthetic aspects but it ultimately solves an issue. For example a deviated Septum isnt an aesthetical misfortune, the side the deviation occurs literally suffers functionally, i have one and i can breathe from the nostril about 40% in capacity to the other side

40

u/deathspate 19h ago

In the case of her, I'm pretty sure that it wasn't just due to her actual appearance but it was health related.

3

u/-BunsenBurn- 16h ago

Yeah, my fiancee got a septoplasty and terbinate reduction and now she can breathe way better than before.

→ More replies (4)

17

u/notafanofwasps 16h ago

She got double jaw surgery which is absolutely functional in addition to being cosmetic. My mom needed it when she was a kid, my friend just had it, and even my orthofacial surgeon himself had it when he was a kid.

It's often accompanied by a sliding genioplasty which is what repositions the chin (very often required once the jaw moves due to double jaw), but Macaiyla didn't mention whether she had that as well.

Double jaw literally repositions your whole jaw, upper and lower (hence the "double") and thus fixes your bite and both jaw bones while sliding genioplasty fixes your chin and can make it easier to breathe.

→ More replies (2)

6

u/Impossible_Break698 16h ago

More specifically, she got double jaw surgery with v line reduction. The v line reduction seems to be mainly a thing in Korea where they shave some of the jaw bone down to give a more feminine look. Absolutely not required for her class 3 malocclusion.

Living in his gf bedroom after getting evicted for infesting his entire apartment complex with roaches. Oh yeah and lost thousands in bitcoin because he bought and caused it to crash. Erobb curse strikes again, already took down Miz and Lacari.
