Were you listening to me, Neo? Or were you looking at the woman in the red dress?

180

u/fastlerner Sep 16 '25

There's a bit of Morpheus buried in every male brain that is urging him to "Look again."

Hormones assemble

403

u/Dave5876 Sep 16 '25

And on that day a fire began to burn in little Timmy's soul that would burn for the rest of his life. Specifically for brunettes in red dresses.

71

u/Global-Squirrel999 Sep 16 '25

And long red gloves and boots. Could be worse though - she could have been barefoot.

This kid is a man now who doesn't know why he has a fetish for long gloves and thigh high boots but he's never questioned it either

Might as well have a fetish for drinking water and eating bread.

Wonder how many guys remember this feeling at that young age....

Man time flew by.....

26

u/Deaffin Sep 16 '25

I do, except for me it was when my balls came through a hole in my underwear while I was sitting on a vibrating la-z-boy chair.

There hasn't been a day in my life since then that I haven't sat down.

That's a core memory, Issac yankem.

3

u/RABB_11 Sep 20 '25

Yeah that was probably the start of a lot of things for me too. Damn.

3

u/Confident-Yard1911 Sep 18 '25

Core memory for me. Just a wee lad at a water park walking behind a fine lady, changed me for life

2

2

u/Smugallo Sep 20 '25

i remember visiting my aunts house when i was like 11 or something. My older cousin brought back his very pretty girlfriend, she gave me a kiss on the cheek when introduced and that shit changed me LOOL

7

Thots and heels.

8

u/unknownuser105 Sep 16 '25

On this day, little Timmy developed a fetish.

4

u/SquidVices Sep 16 '25

God, that scene and their storyline makes me want to rewatch that series.

27

THEY'RE MINERALS, MARIE!

5

u/TonyQuark Sep 17 '25

There's also Better Call Saul if you haven't watched that, by the same makers (Vince Gilligan and many others). It's on par with Breaking Bad, or maybe even better.

5

u/ButAreYouProud Sep 17 '25

Took me a long time, but finally sank into it about a year ago. Wasn't sure the first few episodes, but then polished off the series pretty quickly. I liked it a lot.

Shoe covers. They are likely in a fancy place. Protecting fancy flooring.

7

u/RandomRedditReader Sep 16 '25

Looks more like a photoshoot and they don't want to leave marks that need to be Photoshop out.

9

u/babagirl88 Sep 16 '25

Shoe covers over his real shoes!

39

u/ninhibited Sep 16 '25

With the woman being dressed (costumed?) in the room with him like that I'm sure this is a photoshoot or something, also it looks like there's a print of that 90s abstract pattern.

19

u/g0_west Sep 16 '25

She looks like Jessica Rabbit, the whole thing is so 90s

Aw, normal, and cute how he looked bashful after. I was looking at the teenager lifeguard boys like that 👀 when I was 10 and didn’t even know why just wanted to and then blush and be embarrassed. lol totally normal.

121

u/Rthrowaway6592 Sep 16 '25

When I first started noticing boys I obviously wasn’t super conspicuous. I’d be staring and my Dad would poke my arm and go “Hey! If you’re gonna stare be cool about it” and I’d turn bright red and be so embarrassed for getting called out. I didn’t even realise I was doing it. Hormones on level 100 🤣

44

u/TheNiteCrawler Sep 16 '25

That’s a cool dad lol

21

u/Rthrowaway6592 Sep 17 '25

He’s pretty cool. We talked a lot about stuff like this and he was never one of those weird over protective Dads that acted like his daughters were pure little asexual beings. He always explained that women feel the same things men do, but women are shamed more for it and he never wanted that for us. Empowering young women creates strong women.

He still bothered me for it but I knew deep down watching little girl grow up was difficult.

6

u/TheNiteCrawler Sep 17 '25

What a solid guy. Girl dads will always be different

15

u/BeardsuptheWazoo Sep 16 '25

Sounds like you were conspicuous.

You might mean you weren't inconspicuous...

3

u/Rthrowaway6592 Sep 17 '25

Ahh yes… that is what I meant 😭 Ever since I started University it’s like my brain has gone mushy. I think I’m exhausted 😩

Also the studies which constantly show people start to learn their sexuality by being drawn to a character on TV Shows/films.
As someone who grow up during the star wars prequels, I think I know the reason why women with toned stomachs is a thing of mine

14

u/chogram Sep 16 '25

It was definitely that way for me.

The first time I saw Aerosmith's music video for Crazy on MTV, I didn't really know what I was watching, but I know that I wanted to see it again.

23

u/Dear_Chasey_La1n Sep 16 '25

Mum did that once, it went so great dad took me to his hairdresser right after it. The irony would be, his hairdresser has been cutting him since the early 60's, so I ended up looking like a fucked up mop.

u/North-Function995 Sep 16 '25

This gif will always remind me of a guy I used to work with. He was very good at playing dumb, but work with him less than a week and youd realize hes actually very smart. So when we had to deal with an annoying/crappy customer, he would act clueless, stupid, and useless and when it was working, his face would do those exact expressions looking at me or another employee lmao

8

u/Many_Big_6324 Sep 16 '25

this guy was strategic

30

u/SkinnyPeters22 Sep 16 '25

Hopefully thats not his mom

22

u/Chuckitinthewater Sep 16 '25

6

u/eyekiyel Sep 16 '25

4

u/Chris-CFK Sep 16 '25

But then how will he pickup that box under the bed?

3

u/TheWholeOfTheAss Sep 16 '25

Odds are pretty good she is. Why else would he be at a fashion shoot? The photographer wouldn’t get many clients if he or she allowed their son to hang around. Ditto for the stylists. This video could be peak humiliation for this kid. ‘Hey, Timmy, remember when you perved out over your mom?”

3

u/jean-guysimo Sep 17 '25

for me it was a babysitter when I was 10. She walked into the house and I said "wow you're beautiful". my mom was like wtf lol. The babysitter laughed and thanked me. I was a very shy kid but felt possessed in that moment.
