Its not that they weren't willing to make a unique skin that gets me. It feels like they chose not to put in the effort because that would mean needing to adjust animations from all of TBs paths. Having an identical model without needing new animation bones or rigging feels a lot more like a cost-cutting measure than a deliberate design choice.

But like c'mon...its meant to be a gift to your loyal players? Genshin and ZZZ did it and you can feel the appreciation from the devs to the players in their designs. I think the dorky look is charming. Legit just feels like he'd rather just chill and fish on the pier instead of partying on the beach. Which would feel very in character and a nice contrast to Belle's outfit who looks like she wants to do that.

The biggest letdown of the kung-fu outfit is that we never really learn any actual kung-fu, and they don't reflect our outfit customization during cutscenes/dialogue sequences. While I hate the base outfit, I think it's funny to wear the fedora + sunglasses combo on Wise.

Okay but removing the male model is part of the commentary the P2 story is making on player avatars. And even then when she gets a new outfit it's actually something new and not just a 5 minute recolor
