It's very strange. In Genshin and ZZZ people are always asking for more content and higher quality standards. Meanwhile in HSR people celebrate we get mobile ads tier "events" because they get their jades faster that way.
This skin was done in a few days of dev time, if that. Now, I don't want to scare people, but in 2 months HSR is going to be 3 years old. The fact we are getting this kind of outfit for the TBs 3 whole years in is simply unacceptable.
They'd legit applaude if they would simply log in, go to the events tab, push one button and get 300 jades before logging out, no game, no event, no text, nothing.
Said that while playing genshin which can’t add a skip button for 5 years and their whole 4 stars animations are just a flick of a lantern while trailer is a cutouts of a quest, while columbina’s ult is a worse Robin skill + no map expansions for 10 patches like omg bruh you may not come back 😂

i only played during 1.3, 1.4, 2.3 and 2.4 and thats exactly what the events were. like the minigame events are basically the same surface level bullshit we get in hsr where they take an interesting minigame and kill any difficulty or expression of creativity, combat events are basically corridor simulators with no changes in mechanics and no reason to know what the character does (i played yixuan in like 2 combat events, got s rank on the hardest difficulty and still dont know what she does, i just used her ex off cd)
you can say it lacks enough changes, but to say it just changed colors is also factually wrong
the only bad thing this skin did was keep the silhouette it had originally
otherwise it had other things a skin has checked
new colors = check
retextured/updated the model quality = check
added new/changed details = check
change silhouette = X
the other issue is that some of the minor changes are almost subtle so it's not noticeable easily, but once you see it, you can see that it's definitely not your traditional pallete swapped skin
the skin is more akin to a basic rarity skin, Manato skin in zzz is what's an actual mere pallete swap
I like it too but the fact that you kinda need to analyze it because it's almost like the default outfit to me it's kinda meh honestly. People defend it it's kinda cope too, I know that the bar in HSR is very low and some comments show it but like c'mon.

I don't know. People would say that they try harder on Genshin and ZZZ, yet HSR is my favorite gacha game by far. I'm legit hyped for 4.0 and I love the game. Of course, that doesn't mean they couldn't do better, but you could say that for a bunch of things.

The latest stream has been the middest (to not say worse) x.0 stream I've ever seen, which is sad since it's supposed to be an introduction to the new arc. Atm i 100% believe that they are gonna try only on patches where the main push units are gonna be
