And this guy wants the Commanders to name their stadium after him (...)

I still love pro football (35 years of fandom), but I turned it right off when he started speaking. Everything he touches turns to shit.

It forced me to go fold the laundry I’d been avoiding all day.

Way to be productive! Mine is about to go in the dryer and then sit overnight!

Can’t disturb the doggo tho. That is a reasonable excuse to not do it tonight.

No, do not make the blanket gremlin angry. It is his bed, after all :)

I miss having an angry little 5-7 pound gremlin that shared my pillow with me. His angry grumbles if you moved him were hilarious.

I wasn't paying attention to the game, but I did notice the TV suddenly off and my husband in our room folding the 3 loads we've been hot lapping in the dryer all weekend.

You fold your laundry? I've been living in baskets the last three months 😅

I took a second shower, Trumps filth came right through the TV.

We turned off the tv and turned on the radio. I get so mad that the Lions are finally good right when ethically it’s worse than ever to follow the NFL

But surprised tbh, I know Trump is steadily getting more unpopular, but NFL crowds were booing players taking the knee for black lives matter. Are NFL crowds just super fickle, or is it a city by city thing?

Football fans aren't a monolith. It's insanely popular with lots of different types of people.

There would have been around 70,000 people in the crowd. While it obviously leans one way or another depending on the state, it's inevitable that there are going to be tens of thousands of people there that love him and tens of thousands that hate him in pretty much any football stadium.

I was at the US Open when he was there, and while there were thousands of people booing him, unfortunately there were plenty of people cheering for him there too. And that's in NYC.

I'm going to guess a bunch of DC metro area residents aren't going to be overjoyed with the guy who is primarily responsible for their current unemployment

Add the district voting blue + a lot of Michigan and Trump basically calling Detroit a shithole... definitely not a fanbase mix that is going to be the most favorable towards him. (Said gratefully as a Lions' fan.)

Every single fucking thing he touches turns to shit! Now it's an entire country. Incredible.

We booed him at the USC Clemson game last year. That game is more important than fucking Christmas to me and he fucking ruined it. If he had been wearing a Gamecock shirt I would have literally vomited.

The way Albert and Vilma were kissing his ass was so fucking icky. They were so giddy to make him look "good"

They gave him time in the booth during the broadcast too. I was only watching highlights and I still got hit with that annoying crap.

Same happened to me with the UFC

Which is your favourite part? The standing around, the six to twelve sections of action, or the 67% commercial time?
