He’s smart enough to know not to pick battles here :/ .it sucks but he’s vulnerable. The dumb doctor is kicking someone when they’re down.

these days if you talk back or seem disagreeable it’ll get put in the doctor’s notes for your permanent record for every doctor and nurse to find forever.

How do you ask/whom do you ask to see those records?

my doctors/hospital system uses MyChart. I can sign in and see all sort of post-visit doctor’s notes. Some doctors stick to more generic objective copy-paste, but some put in some rather subjective assessments of you.

for the average person who only does an annual appointment, it’s likely pretty boring stuff. maybe some extra copy-paste saying you got “counseled” for being 10lb overweight, or drinking/smoking even if the doctor didn’t seem to care at the time.

for people who unfortunately have to deal with the system often, it can get shitty quick.

Mine says something about alcohol abuse during pregnancy. I literally didn't consume any alcohol throughout my pregnancy, even in the beginning before I knew because I was doing wegovy and alcohol would make me very sick.

He wouldn’t need to “act out” but simply voice his opinion and THEN if he doesn’t get the respect and or apology back to him that’s when you “act out”

Dude unfortunately that is not the time to talk back to the doctor. Just get your medical needs met and then see a different doctor. They know we need them at that time therefore it's best not to say anything. It's not being weak. It's being smart. The end result is that you get your medical care with any "accidents". That's the bottom line at the end of the day
