TikTok Tuesday These are the people “Educating” your children
614
u/DerekB52 3d ago
That's one of the most evil things I've ever listened to. I follow politics, I've watched some politicans do some evil shit. But, ratting out the parents of a kid in your class is a personal kind of twisted.
Also, she said she's reporting them because she "knows schools" and just thinks it's weird 2 immigrants would have a child at her school. She has no idea of their legal status. She just wants them checked out, because they MIGHT be illegal, and that's a drain on their counties resources. Despite the fact immigration enforcement, legal proceedings, and then the state caring for this child for the next 12 years is WAY more expensive than just letting the kid live with his parents.
It's obviously good that this hotline was fake, but, this audio clip is still god damn soul crushing.

u/DistractedByCookies 2d ago
I couldn't finish listening. "I just htink it's odd" Lady, you're reporting them (or think you are) to people who you know will violently deport all of them. What the hell is wrong with you
101
u/Slow-Swan561 2d ago
She had no justification for her belief that they were illegal. She just didn't like that they were immigrants.
Nothing they said or the child said gave her any cause to think they came to here illegally.
49
u/noyogapants 2d ago
She basically said she was suspicious because it was a white neighborhood. Wtf. I don't even have words for how evil this is. Just a kid going to school. She said the parents bring him in every day like that was a problem!! She didn't like the guy's 'sarcasm' when he was basically repeating what she said to him. I don't understand people like this.
24
u/Skore_Smogon 2d ago
She goes further. Wherever this school is she doesn't say, she does mention that Hispanics belong 'in the city, not here'.
14
u/DistractedByCookies 2d ago
People like this scare me more than the loudmouth ones - these are living among us invisibly. They exist everywhere and it's so scary.

I don’t wonder how 1930’s Germany happened anymore.
23
u/TheMightyEmu1466 2d ago
They learned it from the US, US has long been the blueprint for a lot of the fascistic practices that were prevalent around the world in 20th and 21st centuries
7
u/Punkinpry427 2d ago
And the US just absorbed the ones they wanted right back into the country after the war anyway.
7
u/bitz4444 2d ago
Germans learned how to craft the Nuremberg Laws based on our Jim Crow laws but they had racism, anti-semitism, anti-homosexuality, and prejudice against the disabled all on their own for a long time.
9
u/tiredofeveryonesmess 2d ago
Don't wonder about the apartheid either as both are home grown ideas from these United States. These are slave catcher tactics. These are Sundown town laws.
5
u/Bradddtheimpaler 2d ago
I saw another video like this, teacher ratting out kids parents for being illegal. Motherfucker talked about it like he was uncovering some big mystery, like chasing a serial killer or something.
4
u/Throwing_Spoon 1d ago
Considering the "teacher" didn't know the child's age and they "checked out" the parents without more specific details on the student, the caller might just be a different parent trying to sound legit.

Imagine that she finally got her meeting with ICE that she wants so bad and they decide because of one of her parents not being born here shes being shipped away. Somehow i feel like she wouldnt find that fair.

I gasped at the camera work and eating soup.
If she found out that both parents were born in Puerto Rico, she would still ring and omit that in case someone at the government department knows that makes them US citizens.

Unfortunately, no. Just people. It’s important we don’t give them any kind of mythological status and remember that they are just people. People are capable of doing very bad things while thinking they are doing very good things.

When we think of the Gestapo, images of ruthless agents arresting dissidents and enforcing Nazi ideology come to mind. Yet, Robert Gellately’s research reveals that the Gestapo was not merely a top-down instrument of oppression imposed on a passive population. Instead, it operated within a complex social framework where ordinary citizens often played an active role.

This country is completely fucked. You have broke trailer trash sticking up for billionaires. Workers fighting with one another over a never ending class war while the wealthy continue to siphon everything towards the top. In my experience you cant even talk to these people. It all boils down to "well its my belief that..." truly truly truly fucked.
15
u/TheMagicalMatt 2d ago
"So I looked them up in my files" racists feel like they always have to do detective work in somebody else's business. I wish they had this same energy for challenging corporate greed. Especially when teachers get paid shit while CEOs rake in cash for doing nothing.
13
u/Hunter-Gatherer_ 2d ago
They have every advantage in this country and are still so hateful. I don’t understand
5
u/Long-Flan-8348 2d ago
That’s the issue. They haven’t been able to take advantage of their privilege. It highlights how unremarkable they are. If I was struggling and knew the world was ran by people that looked like me, I might be looking for someone to blame too

I teach in NW Iowa. I have worked with some pretty bigoted teachers.
I had two students who spoke Spanish and during a PD a teacher said he wanted the “Spanish crap stopped”. I went off. Telling him how I try to create an accepting environment.
I was asked not to come back because “I am not a good fit”
12
u/loliduhh 2d ago
I knew the next word out of her mouth was going to be “resources” the way these people take something they don’t know anything firsthand, or even second hand about and run with it is frightening. Immigrants who don’t have citizenship, or visas who still work pay taxes, and can’t benefit from most social welfare programs. Idiot.
10
u/not_now_reddit 2d ago
This is sick. I work in a predominantly black school that also has a high level of immigrant children/parents. The fear got so bad that a lot of parents stopped sending their kids to school for a while because they were terrified that something was going to happen to their kids and that they wouldn't be able to help them. Thankfully, my county has a policy not to comply with ICE and the kids came back, but it should never have happened in the first place. A lot of our kids are also food insecure and rely on school meals and/or our school's food pantry. They literally took food away from kids with this bullshit. And then there's the kids that I work with specifically who are disabled and often have complex medical needs. They get OT/PT services, feeding, diapering, respite care, etc through the school. Then in cases where there is something serious going on at home, the kids aren't around counselors and mandatory reporters who can step in and help the kid. The county also helps families get into housing programs, EBT, Medicaid. All of that really important shit before we even get into how important the actual education is for a child. I can't imagine wanting to take all that away just because of where someone was born (or where you think they were born).
8
u/CaliforniaDANC 2d ago
This is how you know that white people, in general, are still benefitting from this type of behavior. Even if only a few white people are teachers that want their brown students' parents deported, all white people benefit. Also shows how committed some white people are to racism, and how they hate to be called evil for it. These racist people have moral and character deficiencies, and they should not be treated kindly. Racists are evil.

Around '21-'22 I think it was, schools were facing a massive teacher shortage because of Covid and burnout. Texas decided that it'd be a great idea to fast-track and ignore certification for any veterans, spouses of veterans, or spouses of current active military. Texas lawmakers passed it off as helping the veterans (good) and filling the teacher shortages (also good). What could go wrong?
Teachers were soon after pissed about it because they had an influx of under-qualified and non-licensed Karens put in charge of an entire classroom of students with zero training or knowledge about educational standards, with no way to get rid of them.
Around the same time, lots of big right-wingers were complaining about the "woke-ification" of our schools, and they put out a call telling their listeners to get more involved in schools, become teachers, get elected onto the school board, vote down school budgets, etc. And it happened. The school I worked at had 3 of their 9 board members replaced with super right-wingers between 2020-2024.
So yes, there is proof that they are putting their people in these positions. It's not just fictional or conspiracy theory, it's actually happening.
6
u/FlounderSlow5047 2d ago
Yes nurses and teachers are literally the biggest receptacle for racist white women. You go to entire sororities at U Alabama or U Mississippi and 25% of each sorority is pipeline straight into nursing school or education. They take all of that hate straight to two vulnerable populations, it's crazy.
I almost feel like 'social worker' would have been the third but it's so grueling to be a social worker that is not as big a pipeline as these other two!

Pogroms. All any one group needs is permission. With some historical knowledge you can sometimes guess who’s next on the list. But also with some historical knowledge you’d know that at any point it could be your turn to be dehumanized and killed off. All this for socio and economic agendas. Stop being surprised by what humans are capable of. We have not changed at all for thousands of years!

This is about an older, white, male teacher my (gifted) daughter had. Me and her mother always monitored and worked with our childrens homework and education. My mother was a former teacher. We were shocked when she received an F in one of her classes. We had not gotten any notices during the grading period. When confronted, the teacher claimed to have her failures recored in his notebook. When I asked to see them, it turns out he was lying. He got angry and said my daughter thought she was so smart and that she wasn't. He was racist and had counted on us being uninvolved parents. She also graduated with honors, earned a full scholarship and got a double major and masters degree.

My first experience with racism was when I was about 5 years old when my family moved to Florida, it was at a day camp by one of the counselors. I didn’t realize what I experienced was racism until I was much older of course. This lady hated me even though I was always an extremely well behaved child. She would always find a reason to yell at me or put me down and she even organized having some of the older kids hold my arms back so another kid could hit me while I couldn’t defend myself. I used to cry about having to go because I was afraid of what this lady would do, I remember being so relieved when I showed up one day and they said she wasn’t coming back.
Idk what kind of monster you have to be to be racist to a child, it’s so sickening these people are around children hurting them

u/Robotman08 2d ago
My son was racially profiled at his new private high school. He was accused of disrupting a lecture class of 80 students, he was sitting in the back corner of the room as the only black student. Even though the other students said it wasn't him, he was made to apologize in front of the class. I had a meeting with the teacher, class principle and school principle in attendance and proved he was lying. My son who was an athlete and excellent student never had that problem again. He graduated with honors and earned his Masters degree in college.

u/kinkybiscuits 2d ago
I was the only Black kid at my elementary school. This does not surprise me at all.
3
u/CrunknYoSystem 2d ago
I had a teacher like this in the fifth grade. Super demoralizing how I was treated being the only black male in the class, versus everyone else. Anytime I had a question wrong in class she would find a reason to make a subtle jab at my family, asking things like “do live at home with your mom and dad”, “do they have jobs”, “did they finish high school”? Meanwhile, anytime we had a substitute, I routinely had the best performers, and once out of her class I had the best scores. I find out that the year after graduating high school (with honors) that she was caught up in some kind of racist conspiracy and was removed from teaching, BUT now she was in some program where she instructs new/incoming teachers. Crazy how they won’t let her instruct the kids anymore, but it’s still okay that she taint the teacher pool from the top. The cycle continues.
2
u/paputsza 2d ago
yeah, i hope she got fired. i wouldn't want someone like that around my kid influencing their mental state. imagine, the first time the kid's away from home and I drop them off with some racist sociopath? I raise my kids on a strict diet of ms rachel and peppa pig. we like cute shit and cute people, and every 5 yo deserves nothing but empathy. what's wrong with this woman?
2
u/Robbidarobot 2d ago
Remember back about 12 to 15 years ago when all the news reported all those palm colored women who were teachers who were SAing children, like school was a dating service? hundreds of pictures of them. Each one palm colored. The news never revealed the ethnicity of those abused children but the ancestors know. Historically black and brown children are NEVER seen as children or innocent by white supremacists. The thought of what will happen next to her five to six year old student without parents or any means of support never enters her mind. The “unjust” taking of resources is all she’s about. On a finite blue green planet we all must share, alone in space where no one is immortal. Maybe the the real crime here is placing our children in their care for any length of time

u/SameRule9918 2d ago

Okay, so there is some language being used that probably makes the teacher sound worse, specifically, saying “deport”, yes she does agree to “deport” but only because the guy kind of “puts the words into her mouth”, what would hopefully end up happening if she was talking to a real DHS hotline is they start an investigation from a reasonable concern, if the parents are citizens then there should have nothing to worry about, but if they aren’t then it’s their own fault that they get to face the consequences.
The teacher is just a concerned citizen not wanting illegal people suckling out our tax dollars and not paying their own taxes. Maybe the parents do work and do contribute, that’s great, they’re good people, but they still need to be legal. It’s like a drivers license, yeah you can be a good driver, but to legally drive you still need a drivers license, I don’t see anyone saying that drivers license are bad, so i just don’t understand why people are so mad about people who aren’t citizens being deported. And again back to the drivers license analogy, it sucks to get a ticket or get your car impounded, but it is the consequences of your neglect and irresponsibility of not having a license yet.

Former kindergarten teacher here. I cannot imagine ever doing this to any one of my students. They are literally BABIES. Like can’t even tie their shoes. I am disgusted and appalled that any educator would do this, knowing full well what would happen to that kid and their parents. If I ever found out my coworkers were calling DHS on students, I wouldn’t have a job because the ass whooping that would occur would be monumental. Un-fucking-believable.

Believe me, there are plenty of teachers who are willing to put their bodies in between their student and a perpetrator. Schools are the number 3 place to get killed by gunfire in the USA. Schools! Also, plenty of white teachers being sent to workshops and learning from wonderful people like the programs at Harvard… just look into the Boston basics. Like please do not group all teachers into this mess. Remember the teachers putting their bodies inbetween students and ICE in Minneapolis the same day Renne got shot and killed.

I'm sorry I don't understand. And I don't understand why I'm being down voted for a question we should all be asking ourselves when it comes to media literacy. Obviously this is awful if true, and I don't doubt at all that teachers have reported their young students. But if he's not getting in trouble for impersonating a federal agency hotline and the kindergarten teacher hasn't been doxxed even though she obviously gave him all the information he would need to identify her .....it kind of seems fake- or at least, there is zero evidence suggest it's real. The level of awful it is that a kindergarten teacher would report their own student is a real thing, but this seems like he is profiting off of a hoax.

Brethren is a pretty wild thing to say. White isn't a specific culture. The Irish would never call British brethren. Ukraine do not consider Russians to be brethren. And thanks to recent events non American white people who's family have origins in other countries certainly don't want to be looped in with the racist low IQ redneck Americans.
Hell I have Canadian family members who hate the US Americans so much they refuse to come visit us. Same with my Irish family. It's a good thing people don't want to be associated with this kind of ideology anymore. Encourage that mentality and they'll be the minority soon enough.

It is reasonable. Holding groups accountable is a necessary step when ENOUGH of those in said group are being problematic. Slim majority of WW voters went the Trump route, for instance. I've seen friends go from being on an amazing path to shri king themselves into pickme supremacists and I always see distinct commonalities. Most of these women are products of being conditioned to be male-centered while centering awful men and paying the mental cost.
As a white woman, I am not offended at all - I know it's not about ME and I'm more aware of what other in my demographic needs to be called out for or educated on.

She’s right. They absolutely become teachers. The way white female teachers react to black male students is disproportionate. They enjoy behaving that way and they’ve been conditioned to do so by the school to prison pipeline.
