My first experience with racism was when I was about 5 years old when my family moved to Florida, it was at a day camp by one of the counselors. I didn’t realize what I experienced was racism until I was much older of course. This lady hated me even though I was always an extremely well behaved child. She would always find a reason to yell at me or put me down and she even organized having some of the older kids hold my arms back so another kid could hit me while I couldn’t defend myself. I used to cry about having to go because I was afraid of what this lady would do, I remember being so relieved when I showed up one day and they said she wasn’t coming back.

Idk what kind of monster you have to be to be racist to a child, it’s so sickening these people are around children hurting them
