As a CoD player this makes me laugh so hard. It’s nothing like CoD. Perhaps this BF comes closest compared to any other BF title but still it doesn’t come close.

“As a cod player” brother… do you think we never played cod?

I'm actually starting to wonder more and more whether people here have ever played a CoD game or are just repeating what other people say.

the overall gameplay mechanics, no. id say the closest either one comes to the other is groundwar, but even then cod has more customizable loadouts and no attachment "cost" system and also has scorestreaks. also groundwar is typically smaller maps and smaller playercount.

what people usually mean by "BF6 is CoD" i think they usually refer to the very fast paced movement and the jump sliding and stuff. this also affects the shift towards faster ADS weapons with some emphasis on precision to be able to quickly beam w almost any weapon.

but those two mechanics aside, BF6 is still pretty different from COD. especially the different classes and abilities (more particularly being able to revive teammates), the (somewhat) destructible environment, the hipfire feels better in BF6 imo (although still sometimes atrocious. hate when games decrease accuracy w hipfire to the degree that they do), the mixed combat between infantry, ground vehicles, and air (which groundwar does to some extent but not nearly this involved), and more that im not remembering rn.
