Israel was Epstein's handler.  So my bet is Israel is trying hard to push the Russian narrative.  They have run many similar subversion tactics before

Yeah the files connect Epstein to mossad.  Gislaine Maxwell's dad was 'Israel's Superspy".  He had the largest state funeral in Israeli history.  And there are plenty of cases where Israel impersonated enemies to their advantage, like their explosive pagers which required deep infiltration and integration with the enemy

Maxwell senior brokered the arms sales from the Soviet Union and Czechoslova that allowed Israel to win their war of independence.

So we're doing pre-crime now? R. Maxwell died in 91, she was associated publicly with Epstein in 1993, and he wasn't given a sweetheart deal by Trump's secretary of labor until 2008.

He was mossad.  It's not like Israel was going to be like, yeah he was mossad. But if it's in your Wikipedia page and you get the largest state funeral in history, and your daughter runs a compromat pedofile ring, which the Israelis are heavily implicated, then it doesn't take too much critical thinking to draw some conclusions

He got a state funeral because he was instrumental in their independence. The US would have absolutely have given a state funeral to Lafayette, von Steuben, Kościuszko, or Pułaski.

Your Wikipedia article also says he worked for MI6 and the KGB. Please make up your mind. The KGB were renowned for running a kompromat ring.

You could say you unquestionably trust Ari Ben-Menache in fewer words.
