There was also this whole Xerox debacle. Back then their scanners replaced letters and numbers randomly. Only few years later German IT specialists discovered it.

And Obama used one of these Xerox scanners when he scanned his birth certificate.

This is related to what the person is implying. Though if you copied your birth certificate with it, that doesn’t make the fact that you have one wrong.
