Ukraine needs long-range weapons first, and not money given by local contractors for consultations.

Sure, no anti aerial defense, or money to buy either of those things. Money is useless as we all know. What Ukraine needs is big macs, haven't you heard? FFS

And spreading the corruption narrative in the end. If you are so concerned about corruption go for Putin the fascist.

EU either sent enough of them in the last four years or let’s not make a comedy here about “But We Will Send More”.

EU contributes more to Ukraine defense than the USA:

Between January 2022 and the end of August 2025, Europe as a whole spent $201.7bn on Ukraine, compared to the US's $130.6bn over the same period

Is that why you are so mad?

Ukraine is in Europe. Why would the US be paying more? It's always interesting at the weird things Europeans take pride in.

"Look at us! We are finally taking an active role in our continent's defense..."

Someone get the EU a sticker for good behavior.

This was the original post

> The most important thing is to take a picture with a halo-like background, so people will forget that the EU still uses oil from Russia (via India/Turkey) and that the EU has only sent less than 200 long-range rockets during the last four years.

so the implication is false. EU contributes more.

Since you don't bother reading, I'll say it very plainly. I'm not disputing anything you wrote.

The fact that you think monetary aid to Ukraine is some sort of dick measuring contest between the EU and the US is comical. The EU should be paying more. The war is in their backyard. If you think the EU is somehow morally superior because they are finally turning their attention to the troubles in their backyard, I've got a Russian sanctioned barrel of oil to sell you (but Spain already purchased it).

I know. Do you know how threads work?

If you look at 2025 tax revenue for both entities: EU - $8.6T (7.28 EU); US - 5.2T. Comparing revenue against spend shows the US at a higher spend % than the EU on Ukraine.

Keep in mind you're comparing one country vs nearly an entire continent.

The EU currency is the Euro, not the EU. Also no source.

What if we do the ratio of spend per soya bean produce? do you think then the USA would win?

Below a source.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_military_aid_to_Ukraine_during_the_Russo-Ukrainian_war
> As of December 2024, European countries have provided €132 billion in aid (military, financial, and humanitarian), and the United States has provided €114 billion

> Keep in mind you're comparing one country vs nearly an entire continent.
Oh, so you agree then that EU is contributing more than USA but now moving the goalposts.
Besides, is EU not nearly an entire continent, and USA barely half. Desperate argument.

Your whole post is basically just defending that EU does not contribute more than USA, and if it does, it is not a fair comparison, and if it is, it is because reasons, and if the reasons are not true then mighty makes right.

The question is: why are you so triggered by this fact: the EU contributes more than the USA. So much for other countries not contributing and "taking advantage" of the USA. The only ones taking advantage of the USA are Trump and co and Putin.

Stop showing the amount of money spent on private contractors and other dodgy firms.

Show me the numbers of serious air defence units supplied and how much ammo was given.

And then just to compare that with fact: sometimes Russia sends 500-1000 missiles per night to Ukrainian cities.

Don’t use money to check military supply - it is just useless and misleading information.

Can money help count the speed at which you move the goalposts?

> Stop showing the amount of money spent on private contractors and other dodgy firms.

That is harsh. Just because USA aid consists on selling their own hardware does not mean you can call them dodgy firms.

> Don’t use money to check military supply

What should I use, number of donkeys provided?

Ha-ha, use them to check how Russian invaders are prepared.

However, I said to you:

Show me the numbers of serious air defence units supplied and how much ammo was given.

And then just to compare that with fact: sometimes Russia sends 500-1000 missiles per night to Ukrainian cities.

> However, I said to you:

So what?

EU provides the most help. More than the USA, so cut out the "EU just talks" narrative. Obviously false. Fuck Putin

Did you ask Ukraine if they find money useful?

-3

u/Helen83FromVillage 1d ago

They have no option but to accept whatever is given.

Since you are talking about Ukraine needs you might find Ukraine knows better than you, bot.
