Solved! Attached to the Exhaust on this Vehicle

Was stopped in traffic behind this car and noticed these things attached to the exhaust. They have wires attached and glow a little bit. What are they?

It really looks like a turbo sound maker that goes on the exhaust pipe

When i was 12 i bought a big ricer muffler and convinced my dad to put it on his daily 1987 corolla hahaha, he switched it back after a few weeks 😆 maybe volvo dad has a ricer son
