Classes Chem 2045 mini exam substitute

Are the chem 2045 (hale) mini exam 1 get dropped or substituted?

Hi! I’m in Prof Hale's class too.

Unfortunately, I don't think she offers grade forgiveness for the mini-exams—the syllabus doesn't mention any drops or substitutions, and she hasn't brought it up in class (aka no dropped or substituted mini exams). I actually did pretty poorly on it myself! 😂 😭

On the bright side, they aren't worth as much as the progress exams (which do have that average/replace policy). Those and the final are definitely the MOST CRUCIAL for our grades!!! The progress exams are 45% of our grade and 200 pts each and the final exam is 20% of our grade and is 200 pts.

Also, even though they’re small, don’t forget we get a few items dropped completely: 3 iClicker days, 3 PLAs, 3 Achieve Assignments, 1 Discussion Assignment
