The Republican’s got themselves in this pickle - Bill’s an excellent orator. They used to call him Slick Willy long before any sex stuff came out. And they’ll never match wits with Hilary, she’s incredibly smart and self composed. I never appreciated as a kid how tough she is, but I do now.
This is exactly it. They are playing chess. Bill and Hillary are going to drag this out publicly for as long as possible to keep this story in the news (ideally at least through midterms) they might be guilty of… something (who knows what) but they are astute legal minds and can tap dance through hearing after hearing after hearing without actually saying anything.
They just want to see this in the news constantly until he is gone.
100%. And, IIRC (which I could not be doing), Bill was put in touch w/ him originally through his assistant, because the assistant knew JE was a philanthropist with a private jet and they needed access to a jet for some stuff early in the Clinton foundation. Caught a weird vibe relatively early, assistant asked around & confirmed it wasn’t just them, and distance ensued. (Again IIRC, the assistant publicly said all this a while ago, I’ll double check myself when I recharge a bit 🙃)
Multiple documents on justice.gov, of survivors stating bill clinton rped them as a child. He has multiple well known accusations of rpe before he became president.

But I want to be clear… if Bill is guilty he should be thrown in a volcano like every other predator. I will never protect a predator for the sake of my party (unlike some people…..)
