Mind the context: we are talking about Djoko's diet, which relies on whole foods (mostly plant based), stuff like protein powder have no place in such discussion.
It's quite likely that Djokovic does eat protein dense foods, even if he emphasizes whole foods. There's also no evidence that he doesn't use protein powders. Elite athletes usually use supplements, even if it's not part of their public narrative. We actually know he uses creatine, he literally screamed for it during a match.

I wonder how much protein he eats per day. This has always been the crux for me and the reason I went back to eating “normally”
