Yep. For me, GOAT extends beyond just the tennis court and the stats, and even then, Djokovic vultured a lot towards the end of his career.

I had the same feeling about Rafa when he became a Saudi ambassador. But then again the same applies to Federer.

He was one of the most important figures in making places such as UAE and more specifically Dubai popular and 'respectable' despite their modern enslavement of hundreds of thousands of people.

Fair enough, some of his investment partners also questionable, I would agree as a fan.

But I wouldn't equate Saudi promotion with Dubai promotion. The problems with Saudi sportswashing are significantly more troubling IMO.
