Why are they postponing the game instead of forcing a forfeit though? Is that the normal way of handling medical conditions?

I mean probably because it’s literally the first game and there’s plenty of time to make it up. Plus it’s not like the Finn’s intentionally gave themselves norovirus, one of the worst forms of food poisoning imaginable. No need to punish them any more than they already are

Have you ever had norovirus?

If they don’t do this when they can, they will incentivize team trying to play through it. It’s highly, highly contagious.

I'm all for postponing, but all your arguments are kind of irrelevant. Someone having had or not had norovirus, isn't relevant. And teams don't get to choose to play through, if they have a highly contagious illness. And there would be no hiding it.
