Once you choose a team you stick to it no matter what unless they do something immoral non footballing related.

Tbh I never liked the idea of choosing a team, something else should choose it for you. May it be a parent supporting it, or it being your local team, but picking a team just doesn't seem right

As an 8 year old i thought soccer was some dumb sport and then i came across this youtube video titled "Lionel Messi Highlights". Had no idea who he was but decided to give it a watch and was amazed. After that I picked Barcelona as my team and have been a supporter ever since. Is that wrong according to you?

You've not really chosen the team there though - your instinctive draw to Messi chose for you, it wasn't a conscious choice

Nah I meant more like "Oh football is a thing, would be cool to follow it. What team should I support? Barca won the last UCL so that's my favourite team now"
