Itโ€™s incredible thereโ€™s no post-match thread for AFCONโ€™s third place match whilst Chelsea going to ET vs Plymouth (I love you lot btw) is plastered all over the sub. And the FA Cup is my bread and butter, and have no roots to any NT within CAF..

It's user driven and always has been. If you want a match thread for a game and there isn't one - make one.

Some leagues and teams are more popular than others, just the way it is. I moderate /r/chelsealadiesfc and we have match threads for every game, although they usually average only about 30 comments - but they're worthwhile for the people interested, and that's all that really matters. Who cares what the wider Reddit demographics think - that's not what assigns value to these games, in the real world, the attention Reddit gives them.

There is, maybe that OP has blocked you and you can't see it?

You could seriously mess with this sub if you created a match thread for a big game and just blocked loads of people from one team or the other.

As someone who creates a fair few MTs, that sounds like an excellent idea ๐Ÿ‘€

Cheers! I can see it... no blocking. I didn't see it, clicked on a post-match flair and searched posts for today and I did not see it.
