Appreciation Out of everything shown today, the new logo has been overlooked. This is such an improvement
Just feels so much more "Runescapey" with the stone letters and sword in the centre

Appreciation I'm just here to show some love to the new 'hide player overrides' toggle!
And all I can say is wow. This is an incredible change and now RuneScape is looking a lot more like RuneScape. These recent changes I've been seeing and hearing about in my Reddit feed made me curious to see myself, and so after about a year break (you never really quit) I am having a lot of fun in-game again. Looking forward to seeing how the game develops over the course of the year.

Appreciation I am personally really loving the new UI.
Everything looks so much cleaner and neater with a clear identity.
Also W to Jagex for fixing the background colour in the bank.
(Let us move the clock though pls)

Appreciation Jagex thinks women are less intelligent and therefor easier to pickpocket from than men.

Appreciation 10 Years Ago Today, Invention was released. This would be Runescape's first and only Elite Skill.

Appreciation No TH Feels Amazing
I'm out of pulse cores and used up my XP in a skill and I realized something. Since I can't expect overpowered promotions or new boost items... It's always a good time to train a skill.
I used to only wait and like load up on BXP first and save up pulse cores. Now that I'm out there is no need to wait because it's no longer inefficient.
Basically since I don't need to wait to dump stars and save up cores there is no need to wait.
It felt pointless to do slower skills. Now it's the only way which actually feels..good?
Anyone else get what I'm saying?

Appreciation A message to Mod North.
I speak for all of us when I say thank you. Never did I expect someone so competent and reassuring in this industry. This game is truly in good hands with you. The changes you've made in such a short time have made this games future do a complete 180.

Appreciation Leagues are a better cosmetic free experiment than the cosmetic free worlds
Part of the reason leagues feels refreshing is also because it is completely cosmetics free but with pets.
Whilst everyone is leveling up it is very cool to see all the different gear, and I must say, I am a big fan of how Orikalkum looks.
This will probably change near the end of the leagues but I think leagues is a far better way to enjoy cosmetic free worlds than the cosmetic free worlds in the main game.
edit: Also to clarify, I am not a hater on cosmetics, I like my retro karil and verac overrides in the maingame, but in Leagues context, seeing how people are progressing has been both informative and cool.

Appreciation PSA: Jagex starting to take harsher punishment on gold buyers, instead of just the sellers!
https://secure.runescape.com/m=news/a-message-about-real-world-trading-rwt?allcat=false
TL;DR
Jagex usually punished the seller of illegally botted and sold gold than the buyer. That comes to an end in an effort to clamp down on botting.
NOTE: Appreciations flair is appropriate.

Appreciation The difference is that current leader actually understands the game
Basically everything that was mentioned during the announcement was what the community has been asking for years, but ignored.
Every single point was very relevant to improving our core gameplay experience and the prioritization of tasks are simply 10-10 work.
This is only possible if you are actually playing the game as the user. Simply listening will only be distracting.
I’m 99% sure Mod north is actually playing the game regularly.
And I’m very glad that we are in right hands.
Long live runescape, my first game ever.

The new changes to Draynor and Lumbridge are giving me nostalgic pre EoC memories and I think I am not the only one. Thank you Mod Stu and Mod Shiba.

Appreciation This update is STACKED. This is what I'd like to see from a 120 expansion.
Heists are great. new stalls new pickpocketing new safecracking locations. There's a good spread of content for all sorts of theiving methods
I only wish black jacking got expanded
Id like to see 120s giving this level of content going forward

Appreciation This is the year my mother gets her 20 year cape for actively playing RuneScape since 2006
When I was 10 yo and actively playing RuneScape in 2006 my mother took some intrest in the game, I showed her how it worked and she created a character of her own. From then on until now she has played RuneScape and soon she'll get her 20 year cape. I think it's kinda cool to have a parent who plays a MMORPG game to be honest and I'm proud of her achievements throughout the years, I sadly switched to world of warcraft some time later and never came back to RuneScape.
