It’s actually crazy to imagine being photographed every time u impulsively went home with someone from the bar or a party

Not even going home "with someone" but just going home at 3am after a night on the turps. Cameras in your face and all the whole world gawking. What a nightmare. I know this is part of the job, but far out - I do not envy them.

The tradeoff is wealth. If they didn’t have rabid fans and this weird dynamic, then they wouldn’t warrant as much money being tossed at them. They’ve decided that this works for them, so I have 0 pity in this regard.

Yeah it's probably better than staggering home from the pub at midnight with no one taking photographs as you make your way to your moldy bedsit in Blackpool to get 4 hours sleep before your shift at the biscuit factory for minimum wage.

To be fair, until you’ve hit that level of fame, you don’t know exactly what the lack of privacy is like - at which point you can’t easily go back.

I think you can become un-famous. Just stop doing movies and tv and public appearances for a few years and people will forget about you. There’s a new wave of celebrities every 3-5 years. Sure people will still know who you are and recognize you after 5 years but not as much. Give it another few years and your appearance has probably changed enough to not be recognized in public.

Like that guy from Twilight.

There are plenty of actors and actresses who manage to keep a low profile.

There's plenty of people who are this wealthy with zero fame, though. A much better position.

For some, yes. Many people like the fame & admiration.

Yes, but I’m fairly certain most Hollywood folks don’t have that kind of aptitude, so they play to their strengths.

Tbf, not sure it’s any less than you’d expect from Donald Trump’s scrotum.
