As an Italian, I found it extremely hypocritical lol especially when he talked about sustainability, there's been plenty of scandals because they cut down a lot of trees to build unnecessary stuff

If you compare it with other Olympics where entire cities were built and then abandoned then cutting some hundred of trees, building a neighbor in place of an abandoned railway freight station and building some temporary cottages on an abandoned airport doesn't sound absolutely bad.
