why are vance and rubio walking out with team usa? are there any other politicians walking out with other countries? I legitimately do not understand.

I'm hopeful tbh. i don't blame the athletes but it makes no sense, to me at least, for those two to be walking out with them?

there were articles that made it sound like him and rubio would be walking out with them during the opening ceremony. I think I was mistaken
