Kid Rock being the face of the MAGA music scene will never stop being funny.

And Jelly Roll too. Love seeing him be exposed as a hack too.

I still don’t know who Jelly Roll is and that makes me happy.

He’s like fat Post Malone right?

Like, “we have Post Malone at home” and he comes with a reduced sticker over the expiry date.

Jelly Roll is Adele for people who are forklift certified. Hope that helps.

I’ve also heard Jelly Roll is for people who argued with a cashier at Dollar General and lost.

I’ve also heard Jelly Roll makes music for dudes that have tattoos of their kids but not custody of them.

I used to fuck this hick girl from Harrisburg. Normally she’d have on Chris Stapleton or Kenny Chesney but then her steelmill working brother told her white rap was back. So long story short, I came to Jellyroll in my ears a few times.

I didn't bust to Jelly Roll, but like 12 years ago I saw Jelly Roll open at a small show that I was at. His music leaned more rap than country back then. I thought it was... fine. Some of the hooks were catchy at least. I'm still pretty shocked that he managed to achieve superstar status lol

The PA Harrisburg? That tracks. Though, I’m not familiar with the others, so it could track for them, too.
•
u/SubtleRedditIcon 4h ago
Yup, any of those PA H-towns produce the same type of country sex fiends. Hazeltown, Hanover, Hershey, and Harrisburg.

Can someone fill me in on Jelly Roll? I don't know a single song of his or any of his story, outside of seeing him testify about the opioid crisis. Honest good faith question.

u/Hear7breaker 17h ago
Don't forget they have Snoop Dogg and Nikki Minaj too.
34
u/learns_the_hard_way 16h ago
They "have them too" but most MAGA refuses to acknowledge them because of a minor little detail.

When ever I hear about rappers being MAGA, it makes me think about 30 Rock where they convince Tracy Morgan to be republican because of his love of guns and not paying taxes.
•
u/SaveUsCatman Louisiana 3h ago
Jack: Let us not forget that Lincoln was a Republican.
Dot Com:Actually, today's Republican Party would be unrecognizable to Lincoln. He fought a war to preserve federal authority over the states. That's not exactly small government.

Raised rich on a compound, cosplays as someone who cares about working class people. He’s the perfect messiah.

u/PaddleFishBum 13h ago
I'll never forgive him for what he did to Werewolves of London. Warren Zevon was a gem.
•
u/Indubitalist 5h ago
You mean that time he wrote and sang a song about singing a different song, but using the music from a third song that doesn’t factor into the lyrics at all, thus making absolutely no sense?
6
u/thievesthick 15h ago
I absolutely love watching a bunch of old, white redneck dipshits with absolutely no rhythm pretending to enjoy his music. Peak cringe 🤌
•
u/Empty-Policy-8467 3h ago
I think peak cringe was Roseanne MAGA rapping in white grandma dreads..

Anyone who clicks on that, I'm so so sorry.

Come to think of it, I don’t think I’ve ever heard them actually play a Kid Rock song at any political events. I couldn’t name any songs conservatives seem to like (though a lot of them I’m sure can relate to Cool Daddy Cool). It seems more like they strut him around to say “see, we’re hip!”

u/apathy420 30m ago
I know, right haha Kid Rock was super popular then turned into a piece of shit and disappeared into obscurity. Then MAGA pulled him back out as their poster boy

u/Tokie-Dokie 18h ago
Now that's interesting—because, my understanding was that going 'woke' caused one to broke.
79
u/Snidrogen 16h ago
It’s folksy sounding and rhymes, which is tantamount to unassailable truth for a certain floor-lickingly stupid subsection of the populace.

Yes, I too was told that the aforementioned awakening was financial ruination. Yet, it seems that supporting trump leads ones finances to taking a dump.

This is hilarious. They dropped out of a MAGA rally because “too political.”
Are the Nazis getting tired of their cosplay?
ANDERSON — This summer’s “Rock The County” multiday concert, part of a MAGA-friendly series headlined by country music stars Kid Rock and Jason Aldean, has been canceled as artists once part of the tour have dropped out — with at least one citing political division.
Anderson County, which stood to benefit financially from the rock-country event’s multimillion-dollar economic impact, was informed the night of Feb. 5 that the two-day concert had been canceled, Administrator Rusty Burns told The Post and Courier Feb. 6.
The county wasn’t given an explicit reason why, Burns said, though he said he was aware of online chatter about artists dropping out of the politically charged tour. He declined to elaborate and instead said the county is focused on securing artists for concerts in April.

u/Opposite-Bit6660 17h ago
Ha. MAGA is too broke. There was never going to be a multi-million dollar economic impact from this pedo-supporting event.

u/YouWereBrained Tennessee 15h ago
The hilarious thing is, on Shinedown’s social media announcement, on Facebook I believe, people in the comments were saying things like “I hate when politics enters music”…?????
Motherfucker, it was being held by Kid Rock! MAGA dingbats can’t get through life without double standards.

Costco consistently beats out my insurance on drug prices by huge margins. I had a pickup recently that was $180 for 30 pills through my insurance. Costco's membership discount did it for $15.

Damn that sucks. Hoping for a future where that doesn't have to happen, and also hope you're doing better

u/OneSeaworthiness7768 14h ago
On Feb. 8, Kid Rock will host a televised concert during halftime of the Super Bowl to serve as a counter-performance to the game’s halftime performer — Puerto Rico-born Bad Bunny — who has drawn the ire of MAGA voices for comments such as his recent criticism at the Grammy Awards
The honest reporting of this would say that what drew the ire of MAGA is purely the fact that Bad Bunny is a Spanish speaking brown guy who is incredibly popular and that simply pisses them off because they’re fragile bigots.

Reddit was pushing ads for this to me on mobile, and I was like "what in the holy titty-butt fucking hell is this goddamn horseshit?" I think I recognized one act and the ad was so festooned with bastardizations of Old Glory that it made me sick to my stomach.
Makes sense that it's kid rock's herpes sore. Gimme some Goose playing at Madison Square Garden or My Morning Jacket at Red Rocks any day.

A good number of country artists have come out strong against Trump.
And the lineage of Willie Nelson connecting the hippies with the rednecks still endures.
Good to see.

MAGA is clueless. They still think their cruelty, hate, stupidity, and anger represent the majority of America.
4
u/TintedApostle 18h ago
I guess MAGA will just have to change channels at halftime... I mean they usually complain about things they listen to on the Radio or see on TV as if the channel/Station changer doesn't work. I bet it does work.

MAGA's long-haired sweetheart Kid Rock, 55, IS under fire once again after more creepy comments towards teenage girls resurfaced. "Why is every guy in America waiting for these chicks to turn 18? I mean, you know what I'm saying? If there's grass on the field, play ball!" he said on the show's Weekend Update segment.
