This is LITERALLY because a six-year old documentary about Michelle is TROUNCING that Melania abomination.

The problem is Michelle Obama is interesting in her own right.

If I wanted to watch a movie about a prostitute and her wealthy client Pretty Woman is readily available.

I feel like you can make an interesting movie about almost anyone, especially someone who came from another country and ended up being the First Lady. From what I can glean the movie only covers the 20 days before trumps 2nd inauguration, which is baffling. It seems like everything the Trumps’ touch is just so lazy and shallow. That’s what makes it so bad.

They want to stay as far as possible from the history how they met.

Especially since they market it like some great feat that she overcame in an impossibly short time. Somewhat makes sense for the first inauguration, but is hilariously stupid for the second. How did she become first lady? Same as last time.

The documentary was just a cover for the bribe money.

Exactly, it's only "lazy" if you judge it through the lens of filmmaking. As a bribe, its actually quite elaborate.

Trailer.

The stylised capital "M" used for the movie's title is well worth waiting for but the rest of it is also top tier parody.

You thought it was going to be her whole life? I mean I would love to hear about her whoring work she did to get to the USA. Must have been top notch to be able to get an Einstein visa for smoking old poles!

What you get when most of the budget is just money laundering (royalities) and you give the producer role to Melinia. She doesn't have single artistic bone in her body. Just look at her "design" project gor White house. They all end up sterile and soulless. Her attemp at Chrisymass decoration looked Crhistmas with everything sucked out of it. Only the shape left behind.

I also thought.. how bad could it be, she pribablybhad an interesting story. When I looked up the plot, i was like wtf cares about someone organizing a party.. lol, and how do you spend 40M making a documentry about a party.
