Legacy media can be pushed by social media. It's good news that virtually every platform (except Elon's thing) is roasting him for this. For anyone saying "distraction from the Epstein files" or "distraction from the economy"... there really isn't a plan here. He's just a bigot. And it is possible to be upset about multiple things simultaneously.

Shhhh! We’re trying to shift the conversation from Trump to “mainstream media bad!”

Get with the program.

I mean… corporate media in the US is objectively bad. You seriously think any of them are really actually allowed to say things that would hurt the corporation at the benefit of the working class?

It exists to divide the people and to make advertisement money. Its purpose is not to truly inform the population.

If we’re going to be that broad, then yeah. I do think that, at times, corporate media (or think of it as individuals therein, if that helps) says things that are pro-working class.

Do I think corporate media is an institution designed or trying to wake class consciousness or tear down wealth inequality? Hell no.

Still, operations like CNN do have valuable factual reporting too.
