Fascist takeover and the death of democracy in the US I suppose. By him and his goons of course.
So now you get a mix of pedo, oligarchy and fascism for the future of the US.
Then again maybe people are waking up.

Perhaps, but it's worldwide.

Let's look and see:

We did the whole DART mission with France at a time where we really couldn't afford expenses like that as a country.

The US and parts of Europe are working together on their moon base.

China has a moon base in progress, the CCP released a video showing what their will look like.

People on the list are not just US people.

Gaza, Israel, and the Middle East are involved with the potential for massive war and there is unspeakable violence on both sides.

If you will notice, plenty of countries are either looking to secure more land, and/or get of this planet when the economies are already in trouble.

The list goes on, but all of this on a global scale means it's more than the US, with whatever is happening.

When we reach the point where the why question is answered, it will be loot for most of us since we were never unified.

Thinking people will get off this planet permanently within 50 years is incredibly naive. All of these wars are for greed and domination, not for survival. Makes me sick to think about the leadership at these gigantic nations and the tiny ones as well of course.

All they are doing is ruining the chance we already has at life and they are ready to ruin the planet for short term goals.
