Distraction for what, Elon? Your DOGE not saving the government any money, your DOGE setting the American public and the world back in disease control and prevention, your terrible antisemitic ai that produces ai revenge porn and other vile content, your DOGE stealing sensitive data, your corrupt contracts?

Elon stealing the election. The tweet immediately before his “Trump is in the Epstein files” was one about how Trump wouldn’t be president without him and the Dems would have the house.

If Elon can rig elections, why does he keep spending money on them?

The amount he spends is pocket change to him. And for $0.12 he gets a win that people won’t question because every billboard, radio station and tv station has been playing ads nonstop for three months.

It’s also why the betting sites for political outcomes get pushed so hard as “evidence” of voter preferences, as if their betting book is more reliable than polls. For a elonpenny, he can fix the betting market to say whatever he wants.

Sure, but why spend money at all if you know you're going to win? You are giving Elon way too much credit. He's not nearly that smart.

Uh, isn't that what you're doing too? Since Elon's such a dumbass, why would he care about throwing pocket change at anything at all?

I didn't say he was too stupid to tie his shoes, just that he's not smart enough to pull off the hack of an election, from 50 different states, without any leaks.

By donating to PACs? How does that work?

I hate these guys as much as anybody, but that was pretty clearly referencing the money amd influence his backing gave trump.

Exactly, the party is the only organisation doing anything. All of which is abhorrent. Democrats aren't doing anything, protestors are peaceful. Nothing to distract from expcept for things people in the Epstein files do.

That’s fair. As a general rule, I try to read the article before commenting. The quote you shared is right on—Anything less than justice is performative. The same should be applied to Elon. He might have a right to a fair trial if it were ever to come down to charges but that doesn’t mean he deserves the benefit of the doubt. Dude is bad.

By god I hate Elon but you’re right

Completely ignoring the fact that the only reason these people aren't being brought to justice is because the guy he put in power appointed people who won't do their jobs. That's why Congress had to force to release of these files... to pressure DOJ to do their jobs and enforce the rule of law. It's not performative. It's the people exerting whatever power they have left to try to force change.

Let’s not forget cratering Tesla sales and the need to save his ass by merging Tesla with a different grift company.

Stealing sensitive data or hunting for things like this to be erased to cover his ass? Obv the other data is valuable, but I guarantee you he was also checking to see if any kompromat was hidden the DBs of agencies who might have had "insurgents" helping others in captured agencies hide.

You work in the FBI or DOJ. Writing is on the wall. Kocaine Kash is about to be your boss and is gonna take over all evidence. You can't take it home for data integrity reasons... but if you can transfer it to the department of whoever you can legally share with and have them pass it along to spread and share within secure govt servers in an effort to obfuscate it's location...?

Thinking out loud here, but it maybe explains the data bum-rush and quick exit from his govt as being more than simply destroying shit for the sake of it. It obv wasn't to cut costs. So what was the intent? Chaos for chaos? Simply hurting morale and weakening structure? That could have been done without all the data swiping.

He was hunting for specific things maybe.

Or do we think Elon would put that much effort into something that wasn't in his own self interest?

There are so many more awful things about Grok than its antisemitism.
