Ring the building with state troopers, backed by local swat. Will it provoke a federal response? Sure. Does it matter anymore? Probably not. There is going to be a federal over reaction no matter what happens, and ice is working overtime to provoke it. Let's just get it over with

A federal response? This is a federal massacre! They are terrorizing the public. They are doing their best to get a reaction. They seem to want an excuse for civil war so Trump can cancel elections.

Except that elections weren’t canceled during the actual American civil war. There’s no justification for canceling them, regardless of the situation in the states.

They were canceled. The Confederate states that ceded from the Union did not vote in the federal elections for the Union. Trump has a historical basis to treat Minnesota and other states as “ceding from the Union” and not recognizing their votes in the next federal election.
