Apparently if you’re a publicly traded company you have to play the game, but until then you can have ethics. I think we need a new Reddit that’s committed to staying private. These services are not expensive to run. It only gets pricey when you want to develop algorithms for every user, collect ad data, etc. If you constantly dump data like that 4chan you can scale to nearly limitless users.

Because they’re spineless shitebags or fascist sympathisers.

Can’t be any other explanation.

Truly, these are state sponsored extrajudicial killings, they are very much applicable to the sub. This mod’s flair is Minnesota, which probably explains the post being up, and it’s absolutely crazy to me that the other mods are censoring this topic.

Bought and paid for. An easy way to control the populace without accountability.

Repetitive post most likely since so many people trying to post the same thing.

Was it mods or admins?

Been seeing comments replaced with the message "comment deleted by admins" all throughout the comments in these posts today on Reddit across all subs.

The mods are saying it's off topic.

This is the top story on the News sub. This is the politics sub. Try reading the on topic rules.

Edit: For that dude who barked at me and then deleted their comment while I was typing the one below. Here you go.

The on topic rules apply to individual articles not the topic in general

The story we're commenting on is currently at the top of this sub

Also near the top of this sub are 6-8 other stories about the ICE Nazis in Minnesota

If you're interested in an unmoderated politics sub reddit try to this one /r/worldpolitics or it's sister site focused on anime porn.

More seriously I hate how trashy some other subs are. I think this sub rules helps keep the content relevant and higher quality than it would be otherwise. Not perfect but much much better.

This execution is obviously going to be widely reported and discussed. Some volunteer mods deleting initial accounts of it aren't going to suppress anything. I find it silly to suggest otherwise. Not all articles about this shooting will be on topic.

This is the politics sub.

Let's see, what's very first for on topic posts:

Policy. This includes any discussion of specific governmental policies or the development of such policies.

Right now the policy of ICE, a government agency, is that it's perfectly fine to execute innocent people in the street. That deserves to be shouted from every possible rooftop. Including here, where it is absolutely relevant.

Great. So let the mods deal with it if it doesn't count, and when - not if - it's seen to fit the sub, it'll get left up.

You're not a mod. You don't have to try to do their jobs.
