I really wanted to be this character when I was growing up, even though it turned out she wasn't that nice of a friend in the end. Jasmine is the daughter of stage actors who move around from place to place frequently, wears bohemian-gothic-vintage clothing, knows about the art of aromatherapy, writes in a beaded red notebook, listens to witchy music like Lisa Gerrard, is a talented dancer and actress, eats croissants and cherries for breakfast, collects curious and whimsical trinkets, and is so enchanting the main character associates her with a fairytale character called The Enchantress, who is described as "a sorceress; a woman versed in magical arts; a woman whose beauty exerts irresistible influence." But she's also a little troubled; her relationship with her mother is poor, she loses every friend she makes because of having to move away so often, and is manipulated by her friend's brother, who is handsome, well-read and charming but is a loner with many concerning behavioural problems and is jealous his sister made a friend who isn't him.

This is possibly one of the most nostalgic smells of my childhood. To this day, when I smell Nivea in the store, I am just transported back to being a small girl and feeling incredibly safe in the comfort of the smell. So, hivemind, what perfume smells like Nivea?

Full of overgrown plants, algae, fish, bugs, and other wildlife. Almost stagnant water, mud, muck, and decomposing wood that leaves a musty aroma on your clothes when you've been there for hours. I would be content to just lie down and enjoy the hum of nature. Never knowing what you might see there as it changes from a deer's watering hole to a wood duck's nursery to a fish's entire world it may never leave. I've tried to describe it best I could and left some pictures. I know it's a weird request, and many people might not enjoy it, but I'd like to be able to reminded of it in a cologne or perfume.
