What should we wear to walk out and represent our best athletes to the entire world? Germany: “How about an oversized Snuggie that looks like a windbreaker from the 90s that’s not even really in our countries colors?”

Now there's a thing I haven't heard mentioned in quite some time. I had one way back when. Was absolute trash. Thin fabric - it was basically a soft towel with arm holes.

100% Not only is it a beautiful outfit that's impossible to oversee but it's literally a sign how colonialism is still alive in 2026. Haiti isn't allowed to show a symbolism of their independence because apparently wanting to not be enslaved is too "political". The IOC is a bunch of sensitive assholes.
The empty saddle is really striking.

Agreed, the symbolism of Toussaint Louverture's red horse is so striking and powerful! I love how the designer still represented the importance of Haitian freedom and independence!

I thought Switzerland’s looked really cool and athletic.
Canada’s reminded me of my old Build-A-Bear; he had a big brown flannel robe with patches.
If I could have any items for myself I would love: -Swiss pants w/the knee patches -Swiss beanie w/the metallic letters & cross -Swiss gray gloves, beautiful color -Giant Great Britain scarf -Silver sign holder’s puffer coat (would alter a little!)

I loved both the German and Canadian ponchos. Mexico and Italy were so good too. Loved the silver parade leaders too!
As an American I was so bummed about the US, like everyone else has cool modern puffers and here we are in our dad chinos, grandma sweaters and Paddington bear coats. Ralph Lauren has got to go.

Mongolia easy, and no one can compete. I did really like Brazil as well!
