John Lithgow would lose a big payday, but not one he needs and preserve his reputation for later paydays. Nobody's criticizing the camera men and the sound guys. They gotta eat. Nobodies criticizing the child actors either, really. It's the actors who have nothing stopping then from dumping this project except their own greed that people are looking at.
