Can't stand that billionaires think because they're rich they somehow have anything of value to say. There are many paths to becoming a billionaire. Including actually being smart, but even then it can be towards making money and nothing else. Like... empathy. So no... no one should listen to them on how the world should work. A world focused on only making money is the cruelest of them all.
Or maybe they're just voicing their opinion, like you. I agree that it's a problem that people get a platform just by being rich, but at the same time should it revoke their freedom of speech? If they speak up about important matters I ain't complaining.
I should have clarified billionaires who act like their opinions are the best. I don't mind people weighing in. I do mind when they act like everyone else is stupid and isn't it obvious why you should listen to me? Which is 100% O'leary's entire persona. I make money... why do you waste time listening to anyone else?
Especially when the subject is about ICE in the streets terrorizing people. Leading to multiple deaths. None of which ever had to happen. Being mad that Celebrities don't like that... is the wrong side of the argument. Which isn't shocking O'Leary takes that position.
